...for CNN to deny her at this point, when she clearly has been scoring in the polls since August 6, is petty at best and more of the war of women at worst.

The leftists at CNN don't want a woman of some accomplishment articulating conservative ideas before a national audience, to any degree. They would see her as a threat to dislodge a fraction of female support for the Slave Party.
