OK, I will add a new conspiracy theory to the collection: The Democrats power structure wants to lose the 2016 Presidential Election.

1. Nobody except the power mad want to go into the White House right after Barack Obama and clean up his mess. Name the topic; it's a mess.

2. They think Donald Trump might actually win the Republican nomination and the general election, but don't expect him to run for a 2nd term. Pick a reason.

3, And this could be the most important one. Losing this election cycle clears the deadwood logjam among Hillary, Colonel Sanders, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Al Gore, and the rest of the DemoDepends crowd. Kind of like throwing the last few games of the season in order to get a better draft pick. If the Dems clear off the 1960's crowd, they might be able to get some serious candidates for 2020.

Don’t recall the Marxist Media concerned about details from Obama? They don’t seem concerned about details of Hillary’s emails, just how can they make it go away.

Translation: If Anchor Babies are deported then Affirmative Action is minimized and I am out of a job.

87% of the 1.1 million legal immigrants who enter annually are minorities as defined by the USG. Mass immigration has changed the demographics of this country forever. The elimination of anchor babies will slow down somewhat the demographic changes, but will not change the end result. 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies are born annually.

The non-Hispanic white population is projected to peak in 2024, at 199.6 million, up from 197.8 million in 2012. Unlike other race or ethnic groups, however, its population is projected to slowly decrease, falling by nearly 20.6 million from 2024 to 2060.

Meanwhile, the Hispanic population would more than double, from 53.3 million in 2012 to 128.8 million in 2060. Consequently, by the end of the period, nearly one in three U.S. residents would be Hispanic, up from about one in six today.

The black population is expected to increase from 41.2 million to 61.8 million over the same period. Its share of the total population would rise slightly, from 13.1 percent in 2012 to 14.7 percent in 2060.

The Asian population is projected to more than double, from 15.9 million in 2012 to 34.4 million in 2060, with its share of nation's total population climbing from 5.1 percent to 8.2 percent in the same period.

Among the remaining race groups, American Indians and Alaska Natives would increase by more than half from now to 2060, from 3.9 million to 6.3 million, with their share of the total population edging up from 1.2 percent to 1.5 percent. The Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander population is expected to nearly double, from 706,000 to 1.4 million. The number of people who identify themselves as being of two or more races is projected to more than triple, from 7.5 million to 26.7 million over the same period.

The U.S. is projected to become a majority-minority nation for the first time in 2043. While the non-Hispanic white population will remain the largest single group, no group will make up a majority. All in all, minorities, now 37 percent of the U.S. population, are projected to comprise 57 percent of the population in 2060. (Minorities consist of all but the single-race, non-Hispanic white population.) The total minority population would more than double, from 116.2 million to 241.3 million over the period.

There is no doubt that Cruz is the most intelligent and articulate of all the candidates. However, I don't like the way he parses words to disguise his positions. For example, he is against amnesty but he wants to legalize those who are here. Why isn't that amnesty? Cruz says that they won't be given a path to citizenship. This is pure sophistry.

Cruz also wants to increase guest worker programs exponentially. How does this help a country that has the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years and where there are fewer native born Americans of working age than was the case in 2000? Yet, two thirds of the increase in the workforce is due to the native born.

Trump has a great immigration plan to protect American jobs and workers. He just doesn't know how to articulate it. He prefers to wing it and undercut his own plan.

Whenever I see a graph I know it’s my cousin Mike!

Absolutely immigration is the topic to stick with because the political class has made a mess of it and we, the schlubs, have locks on our doors and fences in our yards.

We get this!

And never will this populace, at least for a few years, settle for this wide open border thing.

I am shocked, and I am a self-confessed political junkee, at the number of immigrants in this country now, estimated over 50 million now. I remember when Reagan granted Amnesty it was then less than ten million.

We don’t have to be math majors out here in la-la land.

The political class mocks us but this whole immigration thing, now with me learning that many of these immigrants are criminals....we can thank Trump from bringing the matter up and keeping it four square in front of the public.

Face the Nation, Ken Burns, his take on the birth certificate flap with Obama and he mentioned Trump in regards to this, said it was a sophisticated way of saying the “n” word.

Yes Trump needs to respond to the question directly, not wind his way back to the question. He kept saying “management” is the key to making this work, something Stephie couldn’t seem to understand.

Joseph Biden and Elizabeth Warren are too old--the same problem that plagues Hillary Clinton. That's why the Democrats need someone far younger--and Gavin Newsom fits that bill almost perfectly.

speaking of change....if my main man Cruz can't win, he'd make one hell of an AG at the Department of Justice. What a friggin' den of crooks, in need of a serious house cleaning.

Off the top of my head; Santorum at State, Carson HHS fixing Obamacare. Fiorina VP or Treasury, Guiliani at DHS.

What a wealth of talent. We could right the ship damn quickly. Perry in charge of eliminating, EPA, Education and whatever his 3rd was.

I think that if you’re in the ‘mover/shaker’ class & are invited to join the CFR any intelligent person would do that. Even if it’s just to be aware of what they’re up to.

Lots of folks I know subscribe to Dem politician’s listservs just to keep an eye on them. Ted Cruz has probably got some interesting stuff to use from his wife’s affiliation.

For now, I will trust Ted Cruz.

GOPe on MTP (Alex Costellanos and a Charlie Black from Prime Group) insist Trump will drop once we learn Trump was a Dem, and has changed positions on most everything.

They are wrong on this, I hope. But it was stunning to listen to the both of them repeat over and over that Trump will NOT be the Republican nominee. They said this with frightening certainty. Why would they not just let this play out and let the people choose. Why would GOP leaders actively and openly oppose a GOP candidate. I have never seen this out in the open before. Behind closed doors yes, publicly no.

Correct. Immigration is the defining issue of our time, not only for us, but Europe. We are seeing the greatest mass human migration in history. Since 1990 the US has brought in over 35 million legal permanent immigrants, which is more than the population of Canada. 87% of them are minorities as defined by the USG. They vote more than two to one Dem. By 2019, half of the children 18 and under will be minorities. We are importing poverty and future Dem voters by the hundreds of thousands every year. Is it any wonder the Dems are supporting more immigration and amnesty?
