A US Marine who foiled a terrorist attack on a French-bound train was shot in the neck while disarming the crazed gunman.
The marine, one of two unarmed servicemen, spotted the 26-year-old Moroccan acting suspiciously and heard him trying to arm his weapon in the toilet of the high speed train between Amsterdam and Paris.
The gunman got on the train in Brussels and attempted his attack soon after crossing the French border. The 26-year-old Moroccan national, who was known to security services, came out of the toilet brandishing the gun and opened fire. Fortunately, the Marines were nearby and overpowered him before he could massacre passengers.
The suspected terrorist had at least nine full magazines of ammunition holding almost 300 rounds. He was also carrying a knife.
Unfortunately, one of the Marines was shot although his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Earlier reports said they were aided by a French actor who does Bruce Willis type roles.
HE got the train stopped and kept other passengers away from the fighting.
That is actually a cool headed thing for a civilian to do.

Looks like the guy shot was the attacker.
At least one of the guys was Oregon Army National Guard according to the article.
And they already gave them a medal? They must have those things in their pockets.
I expect Obama to shit-can this story....keeping silent about it rather than bragging. After all, his side lost. Hopefully the French police wont allow them to be punished for Islamophobia. Or maybe the Donald can fly them back to Trump Tower for endorsements.
