The man considered by many to be the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination knows that he's a big draw -- and he says he could use that advantage to raise money for charity before the next debate. A whopping $10 million for charity, in fact.

I’ve explained this many times. I had Cruz, Jindal, and Walker in my top three, but I have yet to be convinced to back any one. I am not going to support anyone until they prove it. Cruz looked really good for a while, but in the last few months he’s made some worrying RINOish steps. That’s the truth. I am not going to lie and say I support someone I don’t. But I am strongly opposed to the Jeb/Trump/Clinton axis.
He is pointing out the fact that the network is making a lot of money from the debate due, in part to his presence, and he thinks they should have “skin in the game” and donate it to charity.
See post #85. Who do you support? Because I see all these people constantly supporting Trump, then they deny they support him. Almost like they know a betrayal is coming.
Probably more about keeping his name front and center in the media.
He’s very smart about dominating the airwaves.
That’s B.S. and you know it. This is a presidential debate. Off course, with Trump he’s hijacking it into a reality show. He’s hijacking it away from a discussion of conservative issue. It’s all ego. He sounds like Obama II. “Trump is the one we’ve all be waiting for.” I didn’t care for Obama, and I don’t like Obama 2.0: Trump.
It doesn’t make you bad... rather it makes you unaware of the political climate and change that’s happening this election.
He knows he’s not getting any money. It may be a win-win for Trump, but it isn’t for this country.
I think that's right, Nick. I have no problem with you being a Trump critic... I have no problem with any Trump critics at all (the more the merrier!), but sometimes you seem to resist seeing the obvious. This is obviously one of those times.
Trump is doing us all a favor by taking away from the Democrats nominations entirely......what little press they do get is weak at best. Trumps got the stage and I pray he continues to hold it for as long as needed.
nick, when are you going to “get it”? The Trump candidacy is fun, as he makes asses out of the establishment.

Except he’s protecting the Democrats. They are doing their work in relative private. But he is trashing the GOP nomination. He’s taking attention away from any conservative debate. So when the nominations start, the conservatives are gone and Jeb waltzes in.

If he shows up the moderators will bend the whole show to attack him anyway. Why not give the others a chance to speak on the issues.
And Trump doesn't need the speaking platform of a debate... the entire media world is his speaking platform.. anytime he wants to make use of it...
You brag about being a media sheeple? You are doing exactly what the media wants.
He is the weapon of the establishment. When are you going to wake up and fight for your country, instead of what the media has programmed you to do?
