“I’m not a gun guy but I AM an anti-doublespeak, anti-Ministry of Truth guy and this is BS.”

It is what the left is all about in this country. From 1915 on, “Progressives” main ideological stance is that most people are not smart enough to run their own lives, so the “Elite” must do it for them. That is why they believe the Constitution is obsolete and an obstacle.

Their Modus Operandi is “Manufacturing Conscent”, which means the elite make a decision, propagandize and lie to get it passed into law.

It is built into the DNA of the left in this country. They do not believe in informed consent of the governed.

The believe in ruling *against* the will of the people.

The Left does not seek power because they feel we are incapable of managing our lives so they must do it for us. They want power for power’s sake. They want to rule so they can be the rulers. They may conceal their goals in this term or that but the goal does not change. In short, the current Left are the cowards and hypocrites O’Brien speaks of in the quote below from the ever prescient 1984.

The question is “How long before they self-realize themselves into becoming The Party”?

“The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were- cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?”
