At a rowdy town hall on Wednesday night in Derry, New Hampshire held by Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate took a jab at his fellow presidential hopeful Jeb Bush, who happened to be holding a town hall at the same exact time.
Trump talked about how he has to continually change venues due to the amount of people he draws while Jeb "has a very small crowd" that is "sleeping."
"I'm going to be in Alabama, and there was going to be 500 people, and the room held about 1,000, and they heard that we were there. And within about two minutes, that room wasn't big enough. So they went to a room that held 2,000 people, and they heard that wasn't big enough. And now they went to the convention center, and they heard that wasn't big enough. They're going to end up being 30 to 40,000 people in Alabama."
"Right down the road, we have Jeb," Trump said. "Very small crowd. We have 2,500."
Trump boasted he had a live audience of 2,500 and several overflow rooms.

Was watching this last night on Greta, and of course, they kept breaking away for ads....I’m thinking isn’t anyone carrying this. It was great... then that idiot O’Reilly gets on, and no coverage.

And in reality, the Bushes really aren’t particularly nice folks—but with that veneer they’ve been exceptionally effective in the job of power politics.
I got that feeling from a few of the questions last night, actually. That’s my home state and those weren’t typical political town hall candidate queries.
I number of the questions had exactly that subtle dynamic you describe.
Fortunately, Trump’s simultaneously an old hand at PR and a quick study on the political stage. But there were enough of that type of question to have him seem a bit unbalanced in his overall presentation last night, I thought.

It’s worse than you think, and they really are out to get you.
Saw the same estimates on a local station about the Mobile deal - they are scrambling to ensure they have seating for a big enough crowd because the requests keep pouring in.
Any thoughts about wandering down there to check out the scene?

We've all noted here that Wahington or Lincoln couldn't get elected today because times change. Trump appears to be the man for the time.
