Is 30 million 25 percent of Mexico?

The population of Mexico is 120,000 according to Wikipedia. I wonder what the Mexican population was before so many of them moved here.

Mexico has a birth rate of about 4 million per year.

Four million Mexicans could come across our border every year, and Mexico’s population would remain static.

So roughly 30 million is ~ 20% of the Mexican population.
