I have watched him for over 35 years as a former NYer. He may appear to bluster, but he's very strategic. He's a very crafty fighter.
Look at how he has gained the high ground with immigration. Even Cruz is looking weak, Kasich looks pro-immigration, and, for Jeb, it's a "love" thing.
This is part of a strategy.
Within the next month, he will have crafted a tax plan that will be endorsed by Steve Forbes, Art Laffer, and Steve Moore (of the Heritage Foundation).
No one else will even have a tax plan.

Trump has what the others don’t have, and that is a proven organization. He has a company that employees marketing people, lawyers, smart thinking people. They are bound to already have the internal infrastructure in place. Communication systems, networking etc. Bring on a handful of political people who can meld into his current organization and he is a formidable machine.
