COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Monday night dismissed as impractical Donald Trump's proposals to erect a U.S.-Mexico border wall, use remittances to pay for its construction and to revoke birthright citizenship.
"How do you revoke remittances?" he asked shaking his head. "A plan needs to be grounded in reality."
"I like my plan," he added in a one-on-one interview with The Washington Post.
The former Florida governor has written and said more about comprehensive immigration reform than any other presidential candidate of either party. A 300-page book he published in 2013 outlines in minute detail how the country could establish a path to earned legal status for the millions of undocumented immigrants living in the country while also revamping other elements of the nation's immigration system. Bush initially supported a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, but in recent years has shifted his focus to legalization.

Jeb Bush is a no can do LOSER!
Jeb is a Mexican’t?
Amnesty is reality? Who knew?
Ya, that's a winner.
The Chamber of Amnesty likes their (your) plan too, Yeb.
He’s a happy turtle. Joyful tortoise. Whatever.
In Spanish, he’s a culo.
Truly enjoying watching Jeb stay flat or decline in the polls.
That $120 million of PAC money he has isn’t going to be able to cut through the narrative on him that is being established.
“A 300-page book he published in 2013 “
The word ‘AMNESTY’ is in all 300 pages back to back.
Do those things and illegal aliens will deport themselves and pay for the trip.
So, to counter the ideas of another republican, gov Bush goes to the WaPo to sell his amnesty alternative...
That’s akin to going to Pravda, or the WaPo for that matter, to sell Obamacare.
I wouldn’t sit and listen to that idiot for less than $5,000 an hour.
I have no doubt Yeb! wrote every page of his 300 page book.
Tortuga Alegre speaks, but Barbara Bush’s voice is heard.
He’s married to a Mexican. How can he be objective? He can’t. I rest my case. Good night.
You know those people where paid to be there. Or photoshopped.
40% of the legals come here legally and overstay their visa. We need a system to track and deport visa overstays.
“I like my plan,” he added in a one-on-one interview with The Washington Post.
Well Jeb, if you like your plan you can keep your plan.
