Jeb Bush on Donald Trump’s immigration ideas: ‘A plan needs to be grounded in reality’

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Monday night dismissed as impractical Donald Trump's proposals to erect a U.S.-Mexico border wall, use remittances to pay for its construction and to revoke birthright citizenship.

"How do you revoke remittances?" he asked shaking his head. "A plan needs to be grounded in reality."

"I like my plan," he added in a one-on-one interview with The Washington Post.

The former Florida governor has written and said more about comprehensive immigration reform than any other presidential candidate of either party. A 300-page book he published in 2013 outlines in minute detail how the country could establish a path to earned legal status for the millions of undocumented immigrants living in the country while also revamping other elements of the nation's immigration system. Bush initially supported a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, but in recent years has shifted his focus to legalization.

I think a Putin strategy is in order. Send troops down to Mexico border, demand each states in Mexico vote to join United States. We will build a fence around those states that don’t join

[”I like my plan,” he added]

I’ll bet you do, Jebby. I’ll bet the Cheap Labor Express gave you all the talking points.

Meanwhile, you need to be grounded, too.

In another country. Don’t let the screen door hit ya, on your way out.

How did a bunch of farmers go up against the Redcoat British?

How do we resist the Luftwaffe? We Brits are outmanned, outgunned.

And how did that rag-tag rabble of Christians win out over the Roman Empire?

How did a rock'n'roll radio DJ from Sacramento rise to be the voice of resistance against the New World Demopublicabs?

Cruz and other lawmakers/lawyers who only live to hear themselves talk would, debate, litigate and legislate to turn that 300 pages into more pages than Obamacare at the blink of an eye...Guess who would be the losers, again.

Don’t worry Jeb. Ted Cruz’s plan will be workable, unlike Trumps, but will be grounded on rule of law, unlike yours.

No, he still does. He just can't say that now that he's running for President. It would be one of the first things he does if he's elected.

People have such short memories, lewislynn. Jeb’s position isn’t much- if any, different from that of Ted Cruz, minus the promotion of H1B visas.

Someone commenting on a Breitbart article posted this link to another article from the Daily Caller in September of 2013 about Ted Cruz

“Mr. Cruz pushed unsuccessfully for amendments that would have, among other things, eliminated the citizenship component.

Asked about what to do with the people here illegally, however, he stressed that he had never tried to undo the goal of allowing them to stay.

‘The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight,’ he said during a recent visit to El Paso” [Emphasis added]

Legalization-without-citizenship isn’t the position of anti-amnesty types. It’s the cutting edge position of pro-amnesty Republicans who are trying to sneak a lowest-common-denominator bill through the Republican House, knowing that once illegals are legalized citizenship can always be added later (or obtained through other, already-existing channels). Pro-amnesty journalists are even now going public with discussions of how to relax the citizenship demand.”

he is a Vichy Republican redistributing to the money’s to the perceived greater powers. police and militaries controled by government do surrender, and it is the people who resist until the end. These people are traitors.

“”There are like 10 things I would change in the Constitution with a magic wand,” Bush said. “But in the interim, we’ve got to control the border, we’ve got to enforce the rule of law, we’ve got to deal with extended stays on legal visas, we’ve got to have an e-Verify system that’s verifiable, we’ve got to deal with sanctuary cities, we’ve got to forward-lean on the border.”

That says it all, he simply is not in favor of controlling the border or enforce the rule of law, but thinks we should until the Constitution gets changed. He’s a total complete worthless two bit American hater that is really no different than obama or Hillary.

Can anyone tell me what other countries in this world do not want to control their border and limit immigration?

Hell, while we are at it, why don’t we just outsource our defense to the Red Chinese so our military can work on more pressing issues, like global warming???

And the MSM thinks Trump, Carson and Cruz are lunatics.

The only “reality” that jebito can see is open borders and amnesty.

why jebito, you merely call it a tax. Just like unipartycare. You should know that. Your pal John Roberts would even give it his seal of approval

Babies aren’t living humans, men are women, black crime doesn’t happen, children benefit from molestation, Heather has two mommies, homos must have wedding cakes, Rachel Dolezal is black, Bubba did not have sexual relations with that woman, Hillary is innocent, your vote doesn’t matter, the borders can’t be closed and illegals aren’t illegal and can’t be deported. Got it?
