Donald Trump unveiled his immigration policy paper on Sunday, pledging to “[put] the needs of working people first — not wealthy, globetrotting owners” and vowing to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.
Trump’s three principles of the plan include: “1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border. 2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced. 3. A nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.”
Until Mexico pays for the wall, the United States would, “among other things,” “impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options],” the plan reads.
The plan calls for the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to triple, along with nationwide e-verify, the “mandatory return of all criminal aliens,” “detention-not catch-and-release,” defunding sanctuary cities, enhancing penalties for staying past temporary visas, cooperating with local task forces taking on gangs and ending birthright citizenship.
“The influx of foreign workers holds down salaries, keeps unemployment high, and makes it difficult for poor and working class Americans – including immigrants themselves and their children – to earn a middle class wage.

How can anyone disagree with that? It’s wonderful!
How can anyone who LOVES AMERICA disagree with that? The problem is that the leftist America haters will disagree.
How is the money being sent now? I think if it’s thru banks that would be easy. Of course you wouldn’t be able to stop payments of cash, or if some third party is making the payments, but I think you could cut off a lot.
I wish all the candidates would adopt this plan.

The vast majority come in through Mexico. And Mexico facilitates it and profits greatly from it?
He did not say deportation. He said they have to go.
Take away the jobs (give the jobs to citizens) and benefits, they will leave.
Trump is however, alienating the illegal immigrant voters!

That’s Mexico’s problem. We don’t want to be the debt collectors for all of Central/South America. In order to get to our Southern border, Mexico has allowed passage.
Yes, Mexico PAYS and if Mexico doesn’t want to shoulder the full burden then MEXICO can collect from the the countries it’s given access to.
Keeping it simple.
Whoever came up with these three principles is a genius. It may have been Trump, Sessions or a staffer. In any case, it shows the difference between a politician and a successful businessman. A traditional politician could never have said these things.
OK. A couple of thousand bulldozers and 30 million bullets.

But seriously: set up a compound in each county: gather them all, send them onward to staging facilities closer to the boarder.
Potentially, use as labor for wall construction. Then put them over the wall, and turn the minefields and manjacks on. . .
Confiscate their assets: any cash, any jewelry or other valuables. Two sets of clothing. One MRE per day (~2400 calories, 1200 calories is subsistence-level).
Mexico profited from Chinese and that is for sure. They dropped the Visa requirement. Chinese were used by cartel to build tunnels under border. We used our “skills” to locate a tunnel entrance off of a Chinaman caught in S Texas. He was the lone survivor after the tunnel was completed.
For the others not so much. Most S Americans we caught their stories were pretty horrific. They were hunted by drug cartel and made to pay or killed, not Mexican government.
If anyone “profits greatly” off of it, it is the cartels and how much of that ties back to the Mexican Government proper is anyone’s guess. At the lower level along the border I would say greatly in pay offs to commandant levels and township heads but directly to the Capital, I do not know.
Cruze is my choice but the more Trump talks the more I listen.

Here’s one way to do it for free: Once he wins, he simply states that ANYONE caught in the country illegally after he takes office will never be permitted entry again, much less expedited (legal) admission. That would give them a bit over 2 months to pack up and leave. 90% will likely do so just from that.
And .. after that .. we need to CLOSE IMMIGRATION until we can get America back to work again.
My fear is obama and the RINO Congress will jump ahead and pass some immigration reform to knock out Trump’s plan. I wouldn’t put it past the bas*****.
When some of them do hit the thread and trash Trumps immigration
policy, I ask them who’s plan they like better.
They never give a response.

TAX THEM ALL, then. And if Mexico actually cares about its people, they’ll pay their share and we’ll be able to quickly get rid of the tax.

They’re simply not capable of it, and at this point it would clearly be identified as a stunt.
As I wrote in a brilliant piece here several weeks ago, the Republicans had 10 YEARS to stop Trump, but they chose not to. All they needed to do was simply secure the border.
Now it’s too late - TRUMP OWNS THE ISSUE and there is no way that it can be pulled away from him. They may try - which can only lead to good things, like getting started on a wall sooner, but they cannot pull it away from him, not by a long shot, not even close.
