That has been my feeling for several weeks now. It can’t hurt Cruz. If Trump wins he’ll find a place for Cruz. If Trump tanks Cruz will pick up many of his followers.
I bet Trump was going to mention the idiotic debate question to Cruz “Does God talk to you?” Mark was on with Beck and said “I would have said ‘What kind of a jackass question is that?”
The majority of these nterviews are call ins - so that doesn’t take a lot of energy. Now, if he isn’t serious about winning, and is a stalking horse for someone else -why would he - a billionaire - waste his time like this? No, I think he is dead serious about winning and straightening things out.
Actually, that's a new version of the game. I distinctly recall playing the original release of this game with my brother and his friends in the early to mid 90s.
“Levin is not a fan of Trump.”
I have never heard Levin put him down. He just stated that Trump was substantive and smooth, and wondered why interviewers don’t let him explain his stands.

You haven’t lost your knack - even I could follow the conversation!
Cruz has really got to change that perceoption of him and the economy IMO. His biggest donors, I think, are contributing to his leaning too heavily on defending religious freedom—and away from an economic message.

You may be right—Trump sounded like he had a lot of respect for Cruz.
I think Trump and Cruz would have tremendous synergy as they are very complementary to each other (not complimentary, although they do that too).
That was a fast 20 minutes!
They are my two favorite candidates!

I agree on that! I keep forgetting we have a long way to go yet on really flushing out everyone’s ideas and positions. Of course, having a non-debate debate hasn’t done much to help us hear positions and ideas.

More than ever I like Trump, and I hope that Cruz is his VP if he stays frontrunner.
They would complement each other in so many ways, and they would attract a larger cross section of voters than either could individually.
The winner would be America.
Oh well, I can dream.
