GOP ELITES PLOT TO PURGE TRUMP
WND ^

Posted on 08/13/2015 4:36:10 PM PDT by xzins

In the Cleveland debate, Donald Trump refused to commit to support whomever the Republican Party nominates in 2016.

Trump would be wise to maintain his freedom of action.

For there is a plot afoot in the Washington Post Conservative Club to purge Trump from the Republican Party before the primaries begin.

“A political party has a right to … secure its borders,” asserts the Post’s George Will, “a duty to exclude interlopers.” Will wants The Donald “excommunicated” and locked out of all GOP debates until he kneels and takes a loyalty oath to the nominee.

“Marginalizing Trump” carries no risk of “alienating a substantial Republican cohort,” Will assures us, for these “Trumpites” are neither Republicans nor conservatives. Better off without such trash.

The Post’s Michael Gerson says “establishment Republicans” must “make clear that [Trump] has moved beyond the boundaries of serious and civil discourse.” He loathes the Trumpites as much as Will.

Trump’s followers are “xenophobic,” Gerson tells CNN. They have a “resentment of outsiders, of Mexico, of China, and immigrants. That’s more like a European right-wing party, a UKIP or a National Front in France. Republicans can’t incorporate that.”

But if the GOP has no room for Trump’s followers, it has no future. For there simply aren’t that many chamber-of-commerce and country-club Republicans.

Trump should tell the GOP, in the neocons’ favorite phrase, “All options are on the table.” And that includes the Samson Option.

Trump should tell the GOP that if it disrespects him and his followers, then he is prepared to do as did the biblical hero Samson, when, blinded and mocked by the Philistines, he pushed the pillars apart and brought the temple down upon the heads of them all.

Has it occurred to anyone that the only reason Trump is where he is in in direct proportion to how the GOP Controlled Congress has been nothing but a Rubber Stamp for Obama’s Policies?

The GOP causes the problem, stabs their base in the back and then blames Trump for taking the Microphone?

This is rich on so many levels. Did the GOP put out an Official Statement on Hillary’s Felony problem yet, or are they just letting Trump do their heavy lifting?

Sniveling Cowards.

Yup. And it’s that way all over. A few of us have long said it. And as today, we were dismissed. But it’s simple logic 101 stuff.

But people are so mentally conditioned to not look outside their compartmentalized view of GOP or nothing/Dem or nothing they are willfully blind to the reality that an ever growing chunk of America hates them both and would drop trou and run naked and screaming for a chance to put the blocks to them in a voting booth.

I mean lets be honest. All these people screaming they have had it will act given the opportunity. I cannot grasp why that’s a radical idea for some.

What I’m afraid of us that the RNC will betray Trump in the end, even when he has the nomination. These people really would prefer Hillary over Trump.

Ya think maybe putting people like that into power to begin with might have been a bad idea....just perhaps?

I mean I know how popular/right/just a thing Lesser evil is with rock ribbed conservatives and all but this is sorta what people get for that when you don’t think such cunning plans through to their inevitable conclusions.

Cruz over Trump in the general with “Hillary?” as the opponent. The odds of Hillary winning a majority of electors in a scenario where Cruz is the Republican and Trump is the 3rd party is unlikely. At best she’d win a plurality, but that isn’t what the Constitution says.

When the electors meet if one of the candidates doesn’t have a majority of the electors, then the election is thrown to the House. Each of the 50 State delegations in the House vote for their choice and the winner gets that state’s one vote. Almost guaranteed to be a republican.

At this point, that will be Cruz, Carson, Fiorina...whoever wins the nomination.

“A political party has a right to … secure its borders,” asserts the Post’s George Will”

Well, George, does a nation have a right to secure its borders? Apparently the gopE doesn’t think so.

Kelly asked Trump about something he said years ago about a fat pig dummy.

She should have asked Jeb about his racist grandfather.

Here is one of George Will's Propaganda column in Walker in May .
He is really spinning like a Good Gope Goebbels .

http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015/01/05/george-will-touts-potent-scott-walker/

George finally has to come out as a Walker operative !

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/george-wills-wife-working-for-scott-walker/article/2565648

Now , George is lecturing us to obey the DC elites .
He sounds like a character from the novel from the Hunger Games .
