The FBI has taken possession of the personal e-mail server used by Hillary Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state, according to a published report.
Barbara Wells, an attorney for Denver-based computer services firm Platte River Networks, told The Washington Post that federal agents picked up the server from a private data center in New Jersey Wednesday afternoon. The attorney told the paper that the server "was blank" and no longer contained useful information.

"The information had been migrated over to a different server for purposes of transition," Wells told the paper. "To my knowledge the data on the old server is not available now on any servers or devices in Platte River Network’s control." Wells added that the company had cooperated with the FBI and had been told it was not a target of the investigation.
The Justice Department is looking into whether classified information was improperly stored on or passed through the server, which Clinton used for all her correspondence during her time as secretary of state.

This claims to make data unrecoverable. But, if I need to discard a hard drive when I’ve got certain contracts, the security people take it apart, sandblast the magnetics off the disc, then melt the disc, so SOMEBODY might have the tech to recover “absolutely deleted and written-over files”.
My bet is that the Obama Admin FBI will declare the data to be non-recoverable, time to move on.

The "data center" in Joisey is run by a guy named Vito who can also get you a real good deal on any late model luxury vehicle you desire.
The way I understand it is, the Feds have software that can rebuild the data even if its “wiped clean” because the disc is never completely wiped of all information. The IT people we had at at&t for the servers they used for the support of the government were taken out and destroyed usually melted down so they could never be reformatted. But with Hillary I suspect the original discs are at the bottom of the Atlantic right now and the discs in the servers are replacements. Never ever expect Hillary do do anything legal or comply. She never has before. Why expect it now?
That’s what happened when the Marshalls were not sent in IMMEDIATELY seizing the server before it was thoroughly “bleached” and sanitized. And then klintonistas just laughing up your face!!!
I don’t know if anything will come of this. With all the corruption in The District of Corruption almost any thing can be covered up by simply delay, delay until they can call it old news.
Example: Has anyone seen the Begdahl Report? That was months ago.

This is the part about politics that I think is Hillarious. Everyone sits at home in their easy chair complaining. And when one of these crooked politicians comes by their town or city they praise how wonderful they are. Go see them and even ask for their autographs. That’s one of the reasons this country is falling apart.

If we had an honest FBI, which don’t (see Petreus) an army of tech forensic tech expert would fine combing the “missing” data, likewise also needed with Lerner’s computers!!!
Neither Hillary or Bill are smart enough to do that. Hiring someone else puts them in a position to not only be blackmailed but reliant on others loyalty
