I used to be a manager in a business with a majority female workforce. I would routinely walk into the middle of lunch room conversations about sex, menstruation and related topics that would absolutely turn my ears red.
LOL. In high school, I was one of the few guys invited to sit at the “popular girls” lunch table. (No idea why, i was a tall skinny nerd who didn’t have the guts at the time to ask one of them out. Kind of still am, but now I do have the guts to ask an attractive Texas or other Southern woman out.)
You would not believe the education I got about sex, female biology, relationships, catiness, etc. Let’s just say I was well prepared for college!
Men workers talk a lot to each other about dinner.
I’ve been in situations like that.
I’ve actually asked if they wanted me to leave, the subjects were so “sensitive”, if you catch my drift. I wasn’t being mean about it. I just asked if they wanted more privacy.
That generally turned things in a better direction.
You know damned well if I and some guys had been talking like that in front of a woman, we’d have had human recources on us within ten minutes.
