I am feeling betrayed
vanity | 12 August 2015 | BRK

Posted on 08/12/2015 9:59:00 AM PDT by BRK

After the big GOP debate event the other night, I was left devastated by the behavior of the Fox News hosts.

Today, I hear this is all part of a larger plan for Fox News to betray it's core audience of conservatives in an attempt to move to the center and grab market share from the major networks.

Guys, I am very depressed by this news. I was already sickened by Fox radio news every hour on the hour, and now to watch Megyn Kelly and other Fox leaders make a "career move" while serving masters of the GOPe is making me want to throw up. The long list of kudos and high fives from the commie leftist media just added to my disgust.

We were already betrayed in 2010 and big time after the 2014 elections, but if we lose Fox News like what I was hearing about this morning, we are are going be be a very disappointed bunch of folks. What's next?

< Get used to faux conservatives disappointing you. That is why our country is in this mess... Imagine how God feels?

I imagine He's already loaded Wormwood into his slingshot and is taking aim about now...

"Fair and Balanced" is not the same as "Factual and true". Fox just didn't hate America but they still gave equal time to fools.

This is why the federal government should be small and state government should be big.

This is why campaign finance should be local, too. Only the people who can vote for a candidate should give money to a candidate. No crossing state lines with money.

Then, all the battles would be local and we conservatives would have a chance to vote for candidates who are like us.

And, news corporations and reporters would need to please the local market instead of trying to please big government-big multinational corporations and foreign governments.

And the reporter-ettes could give up the sex-kitten act so our daughters won't try to be that.

Oh, good grief!

The (currently very unpopular) talking heads asked Trump and others some very tough questions, most of which IMHO were questions that needed to be asked. If Trump, or Paul, or Christie can’t handle tough questions, they need to drop out of the race. Now.

For instance, Trump had been talking about a 3rd party run. They asked him about that. He answered it (and, it was a pretty good answer, in my opinion). Time to move on.

I think much of the anger from the conservative side is anger at a lot of things other than the three talking heads’ questions. They are merely the lightening rod.

There were no surprises at the debates except how blatantly naked the specific attacks on Trump were.
I thought they might be a bit more subtle.
I hope their ratings drop.like a rock, I have been doing my part.

>>Guys, I am very depressed by this news.

The 12 year old girls who write MoveOn.org emails get depressed. Try getting angry instead. Faux News has been drifting left for years as the Progressives come out of the closet in the GOP. They all think that they have the numbers and that Hillary will scare back to the plantation by nov. 2016, so they just don’t care if we know the truth.

We have to make them think that we will let this sucker burn to the ground if we get another Prog vs Prog election.

Heard from whom ?

So you believe Fox News is a purely conservative news site that insidiously made a business decision to trash the GOP candidates to get more viewers from cable news sources like MSNBC, CNN, ???

May I suggest you engage your brain and think for yourself...

You = me 12 years ago. I got over it.

I moved from my home, Seattle, to a small farm in central KY. I’m now actually living the TRUE American dream.

Once you know who they really are, you can respond accordingly.

To "betray" something implies a duty. If you think Fox News has or had some sort of a duty to conservatives, you're crazy.

Oh you are such an objectivist.. While what you say is true it is still is a sad day when you realize Fox News is turning to the dark side. Sounds like I am way behind the power curve from some of the posters here.

Do not put your trust in princes,
Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
His spirit departs, he returns to his earth;
In that very day his plans perish.

Fox has been moving left for several years now. Rupert Murdoch is an open borders guy and he’s sold a substantial ownership portion of News Corp to the Saudi’s.
