And your prescription is Trump? The realityTV star guy that is best known for uttering "You're Fired"? In a country full of people who are worried whether they are going to keep their jobs?
Trump might get a decent percentage of middle age to older white male voters - and that's about it. That just isn't enough anymore to win general elections. He'd bomb with Hispanics and African Americans (despite his silly claims he would win those demographics) and the gender gap would be staggering as Trump would lose the womens vote by probably 15-20%.
Trump is not going to be the GOP nominee, mostly because pretty much everyone who has even the slightest lick of political savvy knows he couldn't win a general election. Same reason Palin didn't run in 2012. She might do well in the primaries, but knows she couldn't win a general. She may be applauding Trump's run for office, but I bet even she knows he could not win a general election.
As bad as things are, I’m sure they could be made worse — if the wrong person takes the Oval Office.

I pretty much agree. And I believe Trump is the only candidate who can win the general election.
THe rule of law is gone. The borders are non-existent. illegals are everywhere corrupting the process and overtaxing the system.
The housing market is stagnant.
Employment is stagnant.
China is winning.
OUr Representatives do not represent us.
Our Constitutionalist are virtually powerless.
20-40 y/o man/children, who still live at home with mommie, who barely earn enough money to take care of themselves are voting for socialist.
OUr schools no longer teach, or train, but rather indoctrinate.
We are 18 trillion in debt.
But other then that i’d say we are doing GREAT!
