America and the Republican Party are dead. America was murdered by Barack Obama and his supporters. The Republican Party was murdered by John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and the US Chamber of Commerce. Bringing them back to life is not something we should bank on happening. The number of people who see America as being on the wrong track hovers above 65% and it has not been less than 61% since mid-February. Approval ratings for the Republican Party are at historic lows. Both are dead.
Doctors are advised to, “First do no harm.” Their job is to help mend and cure the injured and sick. Since they are not miracle workers we cannot expect them to resurrect the dead. Nevertheless, when a body is dead, it is dead and nothing can be done to bring it back or harm it. This is why those who do autopsies don’t have much to worry about – they can’t lose a patient.
Donald Trump can’t kill a dead body. He very well might not be able to bring America and the Republican Party back to life; but what harm can he do to a dead body?
Trump is the guy who is at the door of the morgue saying, “Hey, I know these guys. Can I try to bring them back to life?” Where is the harm in giving him a chance to try his hand at performing a miracle?
The rest of the Republican field contains some very skilled and attractive candidates; but none has the potential to bring “come back” know how to Washington to the degree Trump can. When the situation is as bad as we all know it is; we don’t want to nominate a person that cannot think in dynamic terms. We can’t afford to look good but lose as we have so many times before.
Ted Cruz is a very good man; but he will be eviscerated by the Democrats using the same old playbook they chopped up ordinary Republican candidates with before. He cannot win. Dr. Carson would get the Herman Caine treatment even if they had to make things up out of whole cloth. Scott Walker is just not ready.
This leaves us with Donald Trump, a guy who is hated by the Chamber of Commerce. He is far from perfect but will make the Russians the Chinese and the Iranians listen and is all of these are good things.

Yep, gone thanks to non-hostile takeover when the kids that inherited the place sold out to an interested bidder, all of which, for the most part, has gone by unnoticed.
The sign and logo are still the same, at this time, but it's fairly clear to even a casual observer, whether they will admit it or not, that AmeriCo is under new ownership with a different mission statement.
A quick peek behind the new fence and the old company facade and you can see how they've organized to progressively break up the company, keeping what they want, spending down the company treasury and abandoning the rest like an un-reclaimed strip mine.
It's very speculative, but this mess does sound like something a developer with a vision would see as an opportunity.
THe rule of law is gone. The borders are non-existent. illegals are everywhere corrupting the process and overtaxing the system.
The housing market is stagnant.
Employment is stagnant.
China is winning.
OUr Representatives do not represent us.
Our Constitutionalist are virtually powerless.

Interesting analogy. In my view the rise of today’s federal behemoth can be traced directly back to the first three days of July, 1863. Gettysburg was the price the Southern cause paid for having R. E. Lee, and it destroyed them, and America has never been the same since. The French recovered after Big One, but only as a newly constituted republic, their fifth (1958). They’ve never been the same since either.
America will not be the same after the Kenyan leaves, but I agree we can recover, at least some, if not most of what we were.
One thing is absolutely certain, Jeb must NEVER be the nominee. His family has had a stranglehold over the Republican nomination process since 1988, and it MUST be broken. The key is the nomination process itself. The Bush family is perfectly willing to allow a democrat take the WH, but not any other Republican. They will not allow the border to be closed under any circumstances whatever, and of course it must be closed. The only hope is that another republican takes the nomination process away from them, and for this I think Trump is the only hope. It has to be someone with massive money, because that’s how they control the process every time. I believe they are panic stricken right now, and don’t know the next move to make. Keeping them off balance is the first step. I would support Trump, even if it turns out he’s a Russian spy. The Bush cartel must be stopped, or there is no hope left.
I’ll wait.
I would not vote for Trump, regardless of whether Cruz is his VP. I would likely either go 3rd party (depending on who is running) or just sit out the Presidential race. (I live in a solid blue state, though, so my vote doesn’t really matter one way or the other).
