It's bigger than I realized. It turns out that Salem has gobbled up a whole host of formerly independent conservative outlets. So the amount of independence vs coordinated messaging coming from any of these now interconnected outlets is anybody's guess.
Salem Communications = Townhall = Redstate = Hot Air= Eagle Publishing = Regnery Publishing = Human Events = Salem Radio Nerwork =
Jeb who?
Because Jeb has the money and machinery of the GOP establishment behind him and they can game the nomination process.
I no vote for Heb.
She was predicting that Bush is a determined opponent, who would start playing dirty with attack ads in the early primary states, who has a network of financial support willing to go the distance. She wasn't expressing support for his positions, or his candidacy.
I saw it as a warning, not an opinion that Jeb sold himself to the public during the debate.
Doesn’t need to be said. No one likes Jeb.
Money and machinery mean nothing when the public dislikes you and your family and your policies. It is such a waste of time and energy to go after Bush. Set your sites on the real enemy and knock it out.
“...Make no mistake: Brit, Bret, Rove, Ailes, and Murdoch are all on the Bush bandwagon.”
Sometimes the bandwagon careens and goes off course. One could even be mowed down by a “bandwagon”. Loyal FOX watchers do not like Jeb Bush. Liberals who call Fox News Faux News don’t like Jeb Bush either. So that so-called “bandwagon” is pretty much useless.
Where did you hear that? I can't believe anyone would say that.
I haven't listened to her in ten years, I do remember liking her back then, but Jeb won the debate?
Good grief, if that's true (her believing that), it's a sign at least some of America is NOT waking up.......
LOL Good one Except you should have said: “Voto por mí mucho” According to Bing translations
Love your name. LOL
Seeing as you discount the importance of money and the machinery of the GOP in selecting the nominee, who do you think has the edge?
True, but the song I’m joking about is “Besa-me mucho”. : )
“Seeing as you discount the importance of money and the machinery of the GOP in selecting the nominee, who do you think has the edge?”
To be honest it is still a crap shoot as far as I am concerned. You can’t have a candidate that does not appeal to the populace. Conservatives are sorely outnumbered. Trump has the money but I don’t think he’s the one to bet the farm on. Besides it is debatable whether Trump is conservative or just preaches to the choir. As I said before nobody likes Bush or his family so he is a non-starter.
Well I agree with you that Bush is unpopular and won’t win in the general. But with the party machinery and money behind him he’s almost certain to get the nomination all the same. I like Cruz but I doubt that he stands a chance against Bush at the convention. I think Trump is the one wild card that the insiders weren’t prepared to deal with. They can’t outspend him, they can’t control him with money, and he’s hit a chord with a lot of angry voters who hate the party insiders.
