Death blow from Fox News' Megyn Kelly already taking effect on Trump [Trump @ 32% today]
Chicago Tribune ^ | aug 9 2015 | John Kass

There is no cure for the Touch of Death, or Dim Mak as it's known in those cheesy martial arts movies.

Legend and comic books tell us that it is a precise and forceful strike, with delayed yet fatal result, sometimes taking days or weeks to do its work.

It is subtle, quick, almost unseen, and usually delivered by a monk or some warrior priest with a topknot. Uma Thurman used it to great effect in "Kill Bill: Vol 2." When she was done, she flashed a smirk of wistful sadness.

That's what happened to Donald Trump's presidential campaign, which received the Touch of Death from Megyn Kelly, the warrior priestess of Fox News.

Move on? That’s exactly what the dems and the GOPe want him to do.

Why?

Because he’s doing one helluva great job destroying the elite establishment of both parties!

Go, Trump, GO!!

Go, Cruz, GO!!

No, that was not me.

Another interesting factoid—the bakers in Vienna created the croissant during the siege of Vienna in 1673.

Croissant comes from the word for “crescent”, the symbol of the Ottoman hordes outside the gates.

Eating croissants kept everyone’s morale up.

Until you showed up and saved the day.

I appreciate the appeal that Trump’s insurgent candidacy has, and I understand that it’s good to see someone say “f-you” to the media and the GOP establishment, but Trump is not the guy. He is not a conservative, and he’s friends with Hillary Clinton.

I fear that you Trump boosters are getting trolled.

Yes, that is great! We do not need to make peace with those who wish to destroy us. We need to eat their false moon god with coffee, and then go about our productive true God fearing day!

“Since he said the same thing about Chris Wallace, I believe him.”

He did not say that Chris Wallace had “bood coming out of [his] wherever”.

Bloody Hell! If she delivered the Touch of Death, why is she so bloodied that she skipped her show and is in hiding? So bloodied that people are calling her Bloody Megyn! 99 percent of tweets and Facebook postings on her page are against her! Scan her Facebook, and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone supporting her. Talk about a Touch of Death, she b*tch-slapped herself with her Katie Couric-like bimbo "journalism".

Even before EE wet his panties, I could not stand to listen to him sub for Rush. In that respect, I fired him every time I heard him on the EIB.

Sheesh, even Mr. Kass is in on the sexual innuendo, talking about Kelly giving fellatio.

And that’s why I took Megyn off my auto record. I just recently went back to Fox after a 5 year absence but wanted to see coverage of that mess in Baltimore. Greta can give me the information I want. Megyn is nothing to me anymore.

Found the article where it says 32%.

On Monday, the firm Morning Consult released a poll that showed Trump’s support nationally increasing to 32% from 25% last week. Reuters released a national survey that found Trump holding steady, meanwhile, though the poll had a noticeably large 6.7% margin of error.

Look, I am a Cruz supporter, but this headline is clickbait-level ridiculous. Trump has dominated the post-debate media frenzy and every single political story over the weekend had something to do with Trump’s feud with Fox.

That’s not a death knell—that’s very clever early primary race media manipulation. Now whether he did it intentionally or not, and whether his brand of inflaming media and/or public opinion is what we need in a candidate is up for debate. But this weekend was not a sign of a dying campaign.
