Agree with you totally on this. That question “do you hear from God” was dripping with sarcasm. She can spin this anyway she wants, but the debate was a total fail.I thought Wallace and Baier were just as bad.

I have turned FOX off for good. Fair and balanced ????

Ya-sure!

The problem is Fox for its hack job and Megyn for her arrogant delivery. Both are real shi!

Is there any substance on political positions going on right now? No just a food fight over inane questions and answers and post ‘forum’ semantical fights.

Has Cruz whined about being asked an unfair question? No. Because Cruz is a man, and Trump is a pompous ass. How DARE anyone challenge The Donald?

Instead, by attacking Trump on something most viewers don’t care about and turning the debate into a reality show approximating Jerry Springer, she simply confirmed what many voters already suspected — THE MEDIA IS NOT INTERESTED IN MATTERS OF SUBSTANCE, ONLY IN RATINGS.

Excellent post!

Does society demand a rape victim apologize for calling out the rapist??? Then why should Trump apologize to Megyn Kelly for calling her out on her attack on Trump??

<><><><<

Trump comparison on FR over the last week or so.

1. comparable to Sarah Palin (2 peas in a pod)
2. comparable to Reagan
3. comparable to Jesus kicking the money changers out of the temple (this one baffles me the most - after he admits he buys politicians)
4. And now - comparable to a rape victim.

From the sublime to the absurd.

I suspect most viewers agree with Trump's assessment of Rosie...Megan started out bad and went downhill from there...I can still see the smirk on her face as she asked these questions...

Any smart person would refuse to be interviewed by this clown in the future...

“Has Cruz whined about being asked an unfair question? No. Because Cruz is a man, and Trump is a pompous ass. How DARE anyone challenge The Donald?”

Thanks for making my point. People are tired of wimpy cowards unwilling to challenge liberals. They want an adult, not a cowardly politician.

Cruz definitely should have challenged Megyn when she asked “any word from God?”

Cruz lost point for being a limp-wristed politician unwilling to stand up for himself. If they can’t stand up for themselves how can we expect they would stand up for Americans and America??

“From the sublime to the absurd.”

As Rush says, you need to use absurdity to point out the absurd. It is working.

Trump’s only move you would accept and applaud is if he quit and he isn’t going to do that, so put on your big girl panties and deal with it!

From the article:
So is all this Kelly versus Trump back-and-forth insignificant? Hardly. The Russian writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn once suggested that countries go down because of media personalities like Megyn Kelly. The willful dissemination by “journalists” of the trivial and the irrelevant is “dangerous,” says the dissident.

From Solzhenitsyn’s 1978 Harvard address:

What sort of responsibility does a journalist or a newspaper have to his readers, or to his history -- or to history? If they have misled public opinion or the government by inaccurate information or wrong conclusions…. A nation may be the victim of such a mistake, but the journalist usually always gets away with it.

…Because instant and credible information has to be given, it becomes necessary to resort to guesswork, rumors, and suppositions to fill in the voids, and none -- and none of them will ever be rectified; they will stay on in the readers' memories. How many hasty, immature, superficial, and misleading judgments are expressed every day, confusing readers, without any verification.

The press -- The press can both simulate public opinion and miseducate it.. we may witness shameless intrusion on the privacy of well-known people under the slogan: "Everyone is entitled to know everything." But this is a false slogan, characteristic of a false era. People also have the right not to know and it's a much more valuable one. The right not to have their divine souls [stuffed with gossip, nonsense, vain talk.]

… in the West fashionable trends of thought and ideas are carefully separated from those which are not fashionable; nothing is forbidden, but what is not fashionable will hardly ever find its way into periodicals or books or be heard in colleges.

Cruz may be many things. “Limp-wristed” is not one of them. ;-)

this won’t help the Republican party if Trump becomes the nominee. He must drop out of the race entirely now.

You are seriously suggesting that a candidate drop out of the race for saying "wherever", whereupon the media filled in the blank with scurvy suppositions? You think the Republican party that has sold us out by sitting passively by and ignoring their duties should be "helped" by Donald Trump, who is the first public figure to emerge with the money, power and intelligence to demand their accountablity? Seriously?

How dare Faux news turn a debate into a gotcha question joke instead of discussing the issues?

Imagine in a Democrat Debate Megyn Kelly asking Bernie Sanders about his “Women fantasize about being Raped” writings from way back when.
