MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) A cyclist in Minneapolis never saw what hit him, but a witness said it was a vicious attack.
Mackenzie Jensen has a fractured jaw after someone threw a chunk of concrete at his face from a passing vehicle. Jensen was biking on 41st Street in south Minneapolis Friday afternoon when it happened.
He wasnt doing anything wrong when police say a man drove by in a white Bronco, hurling a concrete chunk the size of a brick at Mackenzies head.
Police say witnesses saw the man wore a glove, his hands protected from the rough cement. While Mackenzies face was shattered, hell need two permanent plates near his cheeks.
Its hard to say where exactly this driver was coming from or if hell even act out like this again. Investigators are really hoping people will keep their eyes out for this type of vehicle description they got from good witness information A white Ford Bronco with a possible window broken toward or on the back with a piece of wood tacked up on it.

Minneapolis/St Paul could become the next Ferguson in a blinding instant. The media is too afraid to tell the whole story.....here’s the proof.
How hard is it to hurl a brick out of window of a moving vehicle aiming at someones head while you are driving?
White Bronco wearing a glove....OJ?
When I lived in Austin I cycled down MOPAC, which has a huge shoulder. A truckload of Mexicans once hurled a fishing lure at my back. It hit my fanny pack. I never rode near a major road again.
Given how obnoxious a lot of spandex clad sissies on their Schwinn’s are, i’m only surprised stuff like this isn’t much more common.
Well, he’s got an alibi this time, since he’s still in prison in Nevada :)
Maybe it’s Al Cowlings. after all the Bronco was his, right?
The perp was “acting out?” Try attempted murder Nina!
Official description of the perp: ‘driving a white Bronco, man wearing pants, shirt and shoes. Wearing gloves. Has two eyes, hair and possible tatoo. Name is unknown, unclear if left or right handed. May not be welfare recipient.’
Police say witnesses saw the man wore a glove, his hands protected from the rough cement. While Mackenzies face was shattered, hell need two permanent plates near his cheeks.
“White Bronco wearing a glove....OJ?”
Is he on parole?
I’ll take a guess. Could the perp be one of Obama’s sons?
And the same could be said for motorcyclists...I’m an ex-rider because motorists looking to get pay back for some wrong committed against them would target the first motorcycle they came across...
Not all cyclists are obnoxious, but they get labeled as such because of the obnoxious ones.
Your opinion of roadies is irrelevant in this situation, no one deserves this.
FTR; I’m a mtb’er and stay off the pavement for exactly these reasons.
Back from vacation?

Good people fear bad people with guns. Bad people fear good people with guns. And everybody fears the psychos.
Minneapolis/St. Paul media abide by an unspoken rule that race will not be mentioned in crime reporting unless it is essential to the circumstances of the crime itself.
In other words only if a white guy does something to a black.
I went ‘round and ‘round with a managing editor of the St. Paul newspaper on this topic, after a white St. Cloud State student was punched in the face and killed while strolling down a St. Cloud sidewalk, busy streets, middle of the day.
This was clearly a “knockout game” situation and the perp and his friends were described as to height, build, clothes and model of car-—but no race.
I think the law eventually caught up with the reeking lousy feral scum that committed the crime. I do know the managing editor was fired, owing to plummeting circulation rates for the paper, and despite the fact he was plainly an affirmative action hire from the start.
Hey! How have you been?
Happened about 5 blocks down the street from where I’m currently living. Thank God I am moving next week to a distant suburb. However our unelected Metropolitan Council is now pushing for minimum diversity numbers in housing for the suburbs meaning that at government mandate these kind of problems will be moving to your neighborhood.
Minneapolis has spent a lot of money on bike lanes and bike trails, but that doesn’t make the city “bike friendly”. My son lived in Minneapolis for about 5 years. He had a number of near death experiences riding a bicycle.
The worst was when a city bus ran him off the road. He dove off his bike onto the curb (separating his shoulder) while the city bus drove over his bike. He complained to the city. They told him the bus drivers reported no such incident, so it could not have happened.
No, nobody deserves a chunk of concrete, but a super soaker or a boat air horn is often well earned.
