Megyn Kelly deflected all the controversy and criticism from Trump supporters and others who said her questions were unfair while appearing on Media Buzz with Howard Kurtz.

#1. When dealing with Putin one knows one has an adversary. There is no illusion that he just wants to ask a few questions about politics so the nation can get to know you better.
#2. If one snears back at Putin after a slight, one is not generally excoriated. I know you are used to so called leaders who cower at the first sign of offense or confrontation, but there are still men out there in this world, a few, who will stand up when challenged personally.
#3. If you think your job as an American journalist is to establish relations with any political candidate that are best compared to a former officer of the cold war KGB with well documented dreams of rebuilding the USSR, then you have greatly mistaken the role of the 4th estate.
#3b. You, madam, are no Vlad Putin. He is a killer, in the literal sense. He is a sociopath with a finger on the button. If you aspire to be Putin-esque, even within your own industry, you have a long way to go and many many more bodies to bury.

What an absurd comment to make. Megyn Kelly is an actress playing a sexy TV show host. She is not in any way taken seriously by serious people to begin with. Her new role as a political correctness commissar quite frankly sucks.
Megyn must have swallowed her tongue when that NBC/WSJ poll came out this afternoon. Now she has to face that tomorrow. LOL!

Your job is not to ask gotcha questions and try to trip up candidates, nor give a setup monologue establishing a red-herring that is not germane to actual question.
Your job is to ask clear, concise questions, and THEN if the candidates doesn’t answer it, to ask him again to answer the question asked.
It’s not about getting past anyone.
It’s not about a tough questioner.
It’s about a whole news network choosing their favorite candidate and shaping the debate to favor Jeb and belittle or ignore everyone else.
Here's how I would have handled MeGynocology's question, and I feel it was a missed opportunity for Trump:
KELLY: Mr. Trump, one of the things people love about you is you speak your mind and you don’t use a politician’s filter. However, that is not without its downsides, in particular, when it comes to women. You’ve called women you don’t like “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.” Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. You once told a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president, and how will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who was likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?
TRUMP: (Pauses) (Glares at Kelly)
TRUMP: Really? *THAT* is your first question for me? REALLY??? We have Iran about to get a nuclear weapon, and Obama helping it along... we have a massive invasion by illegal aliens who kill women on piers in Sanctuary Cities... we've got a crappy economy where jobs are being lost by the millions, Obamacare destroying the medical profession, China owning us in trade agreements.... and your main concern is if I called a woman UGLY???!?
(pauses again)
TRUMP: Yes, I called a woman ugly. Next question please. And lets make the next one actually one that affects Americans!
(WILD APPLAUSE)
I can’t wait to see what happens to the ratings of her show.
I can’t stand to look at her after her disgraceful performance at the debate. She reminds me of the backstabbing b@@@@es who think it’s all about them.
Her job is to moderate a debate not to partake in it. All she did is prove the media are whores.
She is so arrogant. And I am sick of FNC fawning all over themselves thinking they pulled off this great debate. It was a joke! And truthfully, nobody from that channel will say anything negative about Megyn’s questioning of Trump.
Her job was to lob Trump softball questions that he could easily handle.
Her was to ask a question quickly then shut the heck up..
