Republicans across the partys wide political spectrum, increasingly worried about the GOPs ability to appeal to women voters, pointedly criticized Donald Trump on Saturday for comments that appeared to suggest Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly questioned him forcefully during Thursdays debate because she was menstruating.
Even in todays rough and tumble politics, where a premium is placed on extreme language and biting discourse, some saw Trumps latest rhetorical fusillade as vaulting past tolerable limits, even for a candidate who says he doesnt have the time or inclination to be politically correct.
Rivals for the Republican presidential nomination and other party figures said he should apologize, or even withdraw from the race.
Erick Erickson, the organizer of a large conservative gathering in Atlanta, canceled Trumps speaking engagement there on Saturday, bringing about a bitter back and forth with Trump. The only woman running for the partys nomination, Carly Fiorina, said she stood by Kelly and wrote pointedly on Twitter: Mr. Trump: There. Is. No Excuse.
Senator Lindsey Graham was even more forceful, saying that Trump was spreading hate speech, and that the very future of conservatism would be at stake if his rhetoric is not forcefully rejected.

The MSM and GOPe appreciate your support.
What a tool!
Facebook was on fire after the “debate” (ambush) all supporting Trump and he BLEW IT with his big mouth.

Please show us where Trump “BLEW IT”? And please don’t point us to places like the Boston Globe or other liberal rags for their commentary.
Just in case you missed it:

Well I watched him with David Gregory (who kept doubling down) until Trump kindly and gently explained to him what is lost by doubling down on Political Correctness.
LOL.
Wow, you really are informed, aren’t you.
You seem to like to join Laz and stalk people, so go back and check my posts...you’ll see who I support.
Funny, you won’t admit you support a Liberal...interesting.
Can you Trump supporters come up with anything more creative? Seriously, your canned talking points really get old.
But, hey, you are the one supporting a Leftist.
Are you saying that Jim Robinson supports a liberal?
YES! Exactly!
Don’t forget, his Obamacare plan (other than single payer of course) will be an “awesome” plan. I mean, he wants to repeal, but it will be replace with something “awesome”.
Don’t forget, with regards to Iran, we need him because the “Persians are shrewd negotiators”. Oh, and bomb the oil fields.
Then, he did the old Texas 2-step on immigration.
You are EXACTLY right. But, you will not convince the FR Trumpers that he is a Leftist.
Jim doesn’t support Trump...
He likes what he is saying, but he supports Cruz.
Nice diversion, though. So, WHY do you support a Leftist?
My point exactly, there was absolutely no reason to kept on talking about Kelly or Wallace. If asked about the debate just say “old news, I won, that else do you want to talk about?”
Listen I’m all in for Trump, but by going after Kelly in a personal way he open the door to the counter attack his is now fighting. The battle over the “debate” was already won. Trump won decisively, disengage and move on to the next battle.
The debate is worth fighting about because it goes to the biggest issue in America — no free press — and the biggest issue in the Republocan Party — control by out-of-touch insiders.
Don’t even dignify him/her with a reply ;^)
The “debate” will be the topic of many more conversations. But Trump does not need to be the one talking about it. Lets others like his staff or you or me keep pounding Fox and Kelly.
These rivals have it backwards. They themselves should apologize and even withdraw from the race. They too quickly jump to conclusions without reviewing the facts and circumstances of what amounts to a triviality.
These "rivals" have exposed themselves as thin-skinned and hypocritical, not exactly leadership potential. They are getting on the wrong bandwagon, in my opinion.
By the usual eunuchs.
Cruz Rubio Carson"
Rubio already went after Trump. He didn't like Trump's comments about illegals. Rubio was certain Trump was talking about every hispanic.
I see your point.
If Flamboyant drama queen Graham can’t handle a Trump than how is he going to handle say the president of Nauru?
He didntt say coming out of his whatever
Neither did Trump. He said “coming out of her whereever” I think if we are going to be insulted then we should at the very least get the exact quote right.
Okay, now we get back to being insenced.
