Agree. Bush 43 doubled the debt to $10 trillion and Obama has increased it to almost $19 trillion and counting. Trump’s one time solution can’t work anymore. Why should he be held to a 16 year old solution when the circumstances today don’t obtain. At least, Trump recognized at the time that the national debt was a serious problem.
Yes...especially support from RATs.
BUMP - that was perfect and I’m glad Stephy brought it up because that clip proved that Trump really cared about our country and its horrid debt way back when it was a mere $5 Trillion.
Trump was totally willing for his own fortune to suffer the same tax, for the “good of our country.”
If you are a Rush 24/7 member, you can send a private email to Rush asking that he “disinvite” Erick Erickson from from his substitute host list and ban him from ever guest hosting his show again.
In case you haven’t noticed, we’re not that dumb. Give it a rest! Saying that Donald Trump isn’t a Conservative is like saying the Ayatollah isn’t Christian. We know already!
America has gone far beyond what mere political parties can do to save it. Besides, our political parties have been nuetered by a lawless and criminal administration that has them all, to a man and woman, cowed. In short, America is going to have to get behind someone who can kick pc, political criminals in the azz and has the gonads and the money to do it. So far, there’s only one in the picture and that’s Trump. If he folds, you won’t even be able to utter the word Conservative without penalty and you can kiss the Constitution goodbye.
Every politician in that debate had that glazed over, vapid Washington expression on their faces except Trump. Every one of them is steeped in the Washington cesspool and beholden to special interests except Trump. Conservative? No! All American, business savy, economically brilliant? Yes!
But the establishment isn’t done, not by a long shot. They still have cards to play. One is to threaten Trump’s family. That will take the wind out of just about anybody’s sails. The other is to assassinate him. If that sounds over the top to some, then they’re still living in a dreamworld where manners and chivalry will win the day. It would be wonderful but those days are long past.
Yes, it is even better than the Clinton strategy of deny, deny, deny.
Those robotic automatons don’t even apply intellectual standards and demand to see the crease in his pants!
Kelly knew full well what this would do or she would not have told her associates NOT to step in when things got rough, which she did......but now we find her excusing and explaining why she did what she did......
re: making deals
the whole performance was making a deal. it was a negotiating gambit. it was a success
trump is in every post, every article, every tv show. those in GOPe opposition have become aware of the deal and trying to deal with it
it was characterized above as a negotiating gambit but another description is “a shot across the bow”
to me it is funny, comical even, that such a turn of events can have taken place in a GOPe world so tightly controlled
That’s laughable, blaming virus/food poisoning. Most folks aren’t tripping over themselves giggling and cutting up, when they’re feeling fluish. Just the opposite. She was high on life, herself or something, that night.

The first thing I thought of when Trump made the bleeding statement was eyes and ears. Brain exploding. A woman!ans cycle never occurred to me.
Same here. It reminded me of Glenn Beck’s “blood squirting from my eyes” line.
He’s a lightweight as far as I am concerned.
Wow! The next CNN debate has Jake Tapper and Hugh Hewitt as moderators. It should be MUCH better.
So when Trump made the same reference about Chris Wallace, did he mean he was on his period too? Actually would’ve been funnier if he did!
This is all so stupid. The pearl clutching is a Lib thing but GOP going right along.
Hard to believe that no news source has released a who won the debate poll. It seems they use to have those polls out in 24 hours.
They know Drudge did that, and may be off on this but 500,000 votes and Trump clear winner
Every time a low level mediocre celebrity takes Trump on they end up resigning (fired) such as Eric....Now Kelly’s out their attempting to “explain” herself....it’s not working for most who have a mind to see exactly what she’s doing....others without a mind... will just keep watching the circus and be entertained.
Interesting is the black population is fast supporting Trump as well as Independents.....
“That’s a bad thing?”
No, it’s not a bad thing - it’s the path to national salvation.
I’m not sure an unserious people will elect a serious president.
“Yes...especially support from RATs.”
There are at least as many Trump Democrats as there were Reagan Democrats, and for the same reasons.
