In the wake of an unprecented murder spike, the Baltimore police announced Sunday that ten federal agents from a variety of agencies plus another twenty agents from the ATF will he embedded with the homicide unit “effective tomorrow.”

The move to put federal agents into place in Baltimore also comes on the heels of a March President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing report touted by President Obama. That report called for more federal involvement with police agencies, with the president saying, “The moment is now for us to make these changes.”

Baltimore crime is out of control and if left unchecked, will threaten Democrat dominance in Maryland. Believe me, people in Maryland and not happy campers. So time to bring in the feds (paid for by taxpayers in other states) to tamp things down and minimize the political damage so Maryland can stay reliably blue.

Wow. 30 whole Federal agents. That should do...nothing.
I’ve wondered about this whole thing. What is the purpose of federal agents being there? Is it to beef up the police force? But if they do that won’t there be many more arrests and perhaps more shootings by law enforcement against allegedly innocent black men? What do they hope to accomplish?
And if black lives matter, why have so many young black men in Baltimore taken advantage of lessened police presence to shoot others????

Exactly what is the Federal Government’s stated jurisdictional reasoning here? Moreover, just how does the ATF feel they have jurisdiction?
