Such was the case of the 7th SFG, which was loaded with Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics before the GWOT.

unless the language is actually Spanish as spoken in Spain. then they would not fit in so well, sort of like the Cajuns speaking their patoi in Paris.

And I got that from an ‘hispanic’ master sergeant I knew in the Army who married a lady from Spain and she made him learn proper Castilian Spanish. he grew up learning his “spanish” in Texas
