How about using neutral non-participant moderators who would take questions from the MSM and others?
Would this be too fair?
You have got to be f...ing kidding me.
Get a life.
You people are out of control...
Just yesterday we were told how tough and unstoppable he was! He was da’ man.
Now they have petitions to keep a girl away.... she has cooties!
That’s a bit much. Just let candidates choose to pass if she’s hosting.
I think they should ban Trump from all of the Republican debates.
if a Republican can’t outwit a media hack then they should go home.
What the IDIOT ‘Moderators’ Do not ever seem to understand these days is the DEBATE is not about ‘YOU’ - it is about the candidates.
Megyn Kelly’s EGO is too big to be a moderator ...
And I think a loud continued campaign will get her replaced... FoxNews wants RATINGS ... angry viewers do not make good ratings nor good PR...
TWEET Megyn Keely out of the SEAT of Moderator... Use all media to oust her.
Why are we blaming Kelly for a corporate decision to target Trump. Murdoch wants Trump out. He wants Jeb Bush in. This isn’t Rocket Science.
Megyn Kelly didn’t just spring these question on Fox Management the day of the debates. They were kicked around, reviewed and approved over the last month.
Nevertheless, Megyn has now joined O’Reilly on our official household Do Not Watch list. In fact I’ve been instructed by the Household Boss to stop recording Megyn’s show. She doesn’t want me cheating with Megyn when she’s gone in the evening.
There were a lot of questions about this government and how they would run it that the public needs to know....
Some of the people don't have cable, either because they can't afford it or because they are off the grid...they are just as interested in hearing real questions and answers from the candidates as those are that have cable...
Wallace and Kelly brought their ‘horse and pony’ show to the debate (debate is debatable) in their own opinion...at this particular event, we don't want to hear their opinions, we want to hear the candidates...
These two have a show of their own and they can ‘voice’ their opinions on their shows, we as the public can either listen to them or turn them off...
It was a disgrace not only to the public voters but to the candidates on stage....
I could care less how Fox feels, or Rupert Murdock or anyone else on that program...its the candidates and the public voters time....
LOL, you gotta be kidding.
If anything, after last night, Kelly is MORE likely to be a moderator at all the Fox debates and her sky high prime time ratings will only go up. Her star is rising and your petition will go nowhere.
Also, Trump was going to have to answer most of those questions anyway and, much as I don’t like him at all, he did pretty well.
Fox has proven itself unworthy, but what is the alternative? I can’t believe the Republicans are actually having debates on CNN and MSNBC.
Maybe, it is time for a full blown debate hosted on the internet. Can FreeRepublic handle 25,000,000 streaming consumers?
Understand how television works.
1) The objective of any television network — news or otherwise — is to attract viewers and create interest. Fox got record ratings and got you to waste your time thinking about them today.
2) Donald Trump needs to be vetted, honestly, by conservatives. His conduct during and after the debate clearly shows he’s unfit to lead.
3) Fox did just fine.
Frankly, someone running for president of the country better have the ability to deal with nasty people like Megyn K. both gracefully and effectively. Trump is a big boy. The same goes for Cruz. If the public feels the moderator is becoming to snarky or personnel, they will be sympathetic to the candidate being abused if the candidate can deal with it properly.
Bans are silly. Those guys can take it.
Why do we even need moderators? Let the candidates speak! It ain’t about Megan or Brett or any other lefty from New York. They will never be “fair and balanced” because of who they are, what they do, and where they live. And they certainly do not in anyway represent the average GOP voter.
If you have to place someone in charge, SURELY we can find someone that is a Conservative, or at the very least, ask questions that are important to GOP voters.
It looked more like an SNL skit rather than a serious debate on America’s future. I was REALLY disappointed in the opening questions. Those were ridiculous. War on women? Give me a freakin’ break!
