Going into Thursday night's first Republican presidential debate, it seemed as though nothing and no one could stop Donald Trump's rise to the top of the primary field. Insinuate that Mexico is sending rapists to America? No problem! Question the war hero credentials of Arizona Sen. John McCain? Poll numbers go up!
But, on the debate stage in Cleveland, Trump faced off with popular Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly -- and it didn't go well for him. At all.

I thought at one point that he was going to say “I unfriend you” - like that commercial that ran on TV for a while. I’m not sure why so many people thought he “won” the debate, but that initial, focused attack on him pretty much set the tone and it clearly pissed him off. Given his ego and the fact that he’s running, of course he thinks he’s the best candidate for the job (I happen to disagree), whether he runs as a Republican or a Whig.
Megyn Kelly is the typical personality who has let media hype feed her ego.
Compost’s and NY Slimes pseudo reporters are comical when they create lies posing as news.
I don't watch her because of her spoiled "better than thou" snippy attitude.
I have seen her a few times though and she's evolving into the Chris Matthews
and Keith Olbermann of Fox news.
Stupid headline. Trump almost handled the question until he hit Kelly. He should have stopped and gone into his PC answer like he did later. Sometimes the instinct to hit back personally can backfire.
