The questions had nothing to do with whether he’d be a good president. No questions about lack of military experience, or how he’d work with a Congress so beholden to special interests, or his dearth of foreign policy experience, etc.

You make a good point IMO. There were many substantive and forward looking questions that should have been asked but were not. It will be interesting to see what Bill O’Reilly says tonight about the “debates”. Will he critique the pathetic and snarky performance his own colleagues or will he support the home team?
