With the exception of Carson, Trump was up against professional debaters. In Trump’s world he is totally in charge, he makes decisions and does what he has to do to get it done. That is vastly different from the way the others have spent their careers. So I believe it isn’t really fair to compare him directly to the others because actually he has a tremendous record of getting things done - and with his own fortune at risk, not taxpayer dollars.
Oh yeah. And again, it is not essential to WIN the debate. There were only a couple of potential knockouts, in my opinion.
People are saying Kasich did well but he knocked himself out of the running for me. No way. I think the Paul, Christie squabble did both candidates some harm. Jeb was not great. But I am coming out of the debate with pretty similar opinions as those I went in with. I think supporters don’t budge that easily. They only inch away little by little. So we will see.
