FOX News Republican Presidential Primary Debate - Main Event [LIVE THREAD 5:50pm ET]
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
For me it was
Cruz
Carson
Trump
Walker
Rubio
Everyone else was negative
“Trump is not and never has been conservative. Really looked like a silly angry whinger tonight. But he was funny.”
Trump is unending the GOP-e. Needs to be done, whatever the outcome.
As soon as the debate ended Trump and Cruz ran to each other to shake hands.
I think there is something going on behind the scenes with these two.
I know, but voters are very forgiving if they like you. And he comes across well. He’s going to be a top tier candidate. I suspect he’ll benefit more than anyone from tonight’s showing.
what was the final drudge poll result?
*upending
I’m afraid his numbers, at best, may rise a bit with Repoblicans and tank with voters in general.
The moderators were disgusting!!!
Trump did himself no favors. Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Walker and Fiorina demonstrated to me high intellect and the ability to lead. That says nothing about their conservatism but it is indicative of their ability to win.
“I hope somebody does an analysis of the 2 hours “
I’m very sure that is being done right now.
..
Thanks for the thread Jim.
The only thing “marginalized” tonight was FNC and Meghan Kelly.
Cruz got ripped off along with Carson.
Trump was attacked hard and punched their nose early.
I suggest FNC get out of the “debate” business.
Wow! 2000 comments on Megyn’s FB and not one, that I’ve read, is positive. Hope she reads it before her show next. Talk about a slap down! She really stuck her foot in it tonight.
Observations on this faux news clown show:
1. Obvious that the audience was handpicked to be averse to conservatives.
2. Obvious that Kasich is being groomed to be the uniparty replacement for jebito when he fails.
3. The arseholes flacking for faux made you yearn for fairer questioners like rachel madcow and Candy Crowley.
4. Conservatives were shorted on being asked questions relative to the progressives.
5. Impressed with the overall quality of candidates as compared to 2012.
Clear winners:
Trump in spite of the attack dogs
Cruz
Huckster
Surprisingly...Carson
Clear losers

Faux news
The 3 newswhore interrogators for faux
they are pAtting themselves on the back now, but they did the worst job that I have ever witnessed. It was beyond terrible. they did really badly even with the people they were trying to help. real amateurs
That has to be one of the worst run debates I’ve ever seen. Fox blew their chance to be fair completely. What a train wreck
You sure that noise wasn't one of those false eyelashes falling off and getting sucked down her tonsils?
Because Fox has only one goal and that is to shove a GOPe candidate down our throats.
Trump and Cruz tied for the lead.
Carson
Huckabee
Walker
Rubio
Paul
Kasich
Christie
Bush
That was absolutely terrible.
As far as I’m concerned, I’d like there to be more than just a handful of debates. I want a couple of nights where 4 or 5 get asked a few questions and are allowed to go at with each other.
I want cross-party debates way before the nominees are chosen. I want debates about a few limited topics. One could be entirely on foreign policy, and how they’ll tackle it. Another on taxes, and how to fix it.
