Rick Perry: Border Fence “Ridiculous”
I'm not in Texas, but it's been my impression that he's always been against any tough border enforcement, and for things such as in-state tuition for illegals. And that one instance of calling up the National Guard was for show and very short lived.
Nobody believe Perry's tough talk on borders. He sent unarmed NG toward the border (but not on the actual border) with no mission and no authority to do anything. Pure dog and pony.
His 50-second drowning fish act in the 2012 debates was the true Perry. A deeply stupid man unfit for the Oval Office, ready to jump however, on behalf of big donors, especially the cheap labor lobby.
Pretty much of the jobs created in Texas's "boom" went to foreign-born workers.
