He always is. Perry always has trouble speaking without a printed copy to read. He can’t think on his feet. What I see so far from him is measured memorized sentences. He is under pressure and has trouble speaking in complete sentences unless they are thoroughly memorized (his brain seems to freeze). He also has trouble with his hands - what to do with them.
I don’t dislike Perry but he should not be President with these speaking problems. Foreign leaders would eat him up.

Perfectly accurate analysis of Perry. I hate it for Perry’s sake, but it is spot on. He is all TEXAN, but happens not to be a product of a finishing school, nor extraordinarily mentally quick. He is a true good old boy, man’s man, likable and quite charming.
Not a president from this field, but then anyone does beat Obama all ways from side ways.
