Donald Trump vows to bring back the millions of American jobs lost to China and other foreign competitors if voters put him in the White House.
Economists say he wouldn

Americans have been exporting our own companies, our own jobs, and our own future now for one entire generation.
Trump alone is saying, bring them back.
I agree completely. Bring the jobs back.
There are two things to know about China.
1. They don’t NEED anything from any other country because they don’t care if a million or more of their citizens die.
2. They work for US. They are our labor and we control them.
“We can artificially interfere with the economy to make things better! We will mandate it!”
um no
We can cut taxes and regulations, end subsidies and favoritism by cronyism
but Trump wouldn’t favor those.
Oh Kay
And the Economists who think it is a Grand Idea to let China or any and every other country around the planet eat America’s lunch are lying.
America needs to take back her hand... Right now.
Otherwise, it is Over.
What a lot of rubbish. Jobs are already coming back to the US from China even under the Obamanation, because despite all his efforts to the contrary, even with Obama in charge productivity gains and economic forces in China have made parts of the US competitive. Boston Consulting Group has been writing about this for several years now. These people are clueless if they can’t understand how a leader like Trump would not accelerate this trend by doing things that help instead of hinder.
I once ‘went French’, but there was too much chafing...
I don’t see it.
Last year we had the largest bilateral trade deficit in history with China.
This year, it is getting EVEN WORSE.
Are these the same economists whose expectations are constantly thwarted, nearly every month? Those economists?
+1...at least the Krugmans of this world.
These bastards sent the jobs overseas, than taunt you can’t get them back. They should be hung with wires.
Listening to economists and their theories has been a major factor in the economic problems of the US, a major factor, but certainly not the only factor.
They work for US. They are our labor and we control them.

WE are their profit, which they use to build a more and more dangerous military technological threat.
We don’t control them without a strong President.

AND that profit goes to Commmunist China’s military and technology.
“Economists say he wouldnt stand a chance”
That is the sane meme Jeb! is pushing — Americans can no longer cut it. For Jeb! Americans are tired, worn out, and need to be revitalized by new blood from the aspirational youth coming out of Mexico and the jungles of Central and South America. In Jeb!’s idiot mind these aspirational youth will come here and replicate the advanced civilization they created back home. I know some people will think I am exaggerating about Jeb!...
The Bush’s are just as bad about jobs, as the democrats, and most Republicans.
Trump is for American jobs.
Frankly, that is why he is doing so well in all the polls.
STOP H1BS

TO START.
Borders are good. They might not offer the dream of ultimate world economic efficiency, but face it, we are living breathing creatures, and as such we were built for redundant systems. We like to try out new things, to innovate, and since we don’t always (or often, let’s be honest) get it right, not having your eggs all in one basket is wise.
Well the economists have spoke. Global forces will bring American workers wages to parity with Apples slave labor in China. Nothing more to be done.
My understanding (or misunderstanding) is big business used to be tied to the Republicans, back when they were somewhat honest and the dems in their rhetoric used to just slam them for it.
Now big business has sided with leftists of the Uniparty, you’ve got crony capitolism, the US Chamber of Commerce wanting cheap labor (the illegals) and out of control legal bribery (lobbyists). It’s all corrupt.
They first wanted cheap labor by sending our jobs over seas. Now they want to keep the jobs here by bringing in illegal cheap labor. It’s not about screwing the American worker, it’s about screwing America.
Before it’s too late, we need someone at the top that is honest and independently wealthy. If we can have this at the top, then I see the chance of a Constitutional Convention being run with minimal corruption.
