For the same reason Trump , Rubio, and heck even Ann Coutler wants the best coming here over that of the low income people....or would you prefer the low level employees?...we’re not talking H1Bs for ‘IT’ Workers as you’ve referenced in the past.
It would be an increase in the number high-skilled jobs to people who earn advanced degrees in science, technology or math at U.S. universities....If you look at the past... increases to the H1B visa had often been offset with ***’decreases’ in the number of other types of visas issued****such as the co-called Green Card so I’ll take that kind of trade off over more of the lower end visas.
Also we do live in a in a globalized workforce and if we don’t bring them here we’ll loose them to other countries...I want the best and those at the top of their game right here... thank you..that’s good for our country.
This great country has 300 million people, we have more than enough qualified educated IT AMERICANS....instead we let our American Youth work for 22 years so they can graduate from college only to have Republorats steal their jobs and give them to foreigners
