Agreed 100%!!! Pp was caught doing something not only evil but against federal law, and our leaders cant even vote to stop giving them our money let alone convict them. Lawless begets lawless..

I don’t understand how people can gather around a tray full of mangled, ripped and torn parts of is a person, and proclaim out loud “It’s a baby”, and then try and sell these parts.

It is pure black evil as you say.

If we don’t stop this, I don’t see how we deserve to continue on. I really don’t.

If we cannot look at this and say this is Evil, then we do not deserve to have brains, because we don’t use them, or souls for that matter.

This is really depressing me. I can’t believe this is going to continue ;/

I remember from threads not long ago that the Shemitah cycle of 7 years ends in September. It has usually accompanied economic upheaval. Could it be that the wrath of God will be taking the form of the total economic collapse of the American system?

Knowing that He is sovereign and can do ANYTHING He so desires makes me shudder. And...He can do it, knowing that people who love Him and serve Him will be affected.

I used to pray for God to have mercy on this country, but I don’t anymore. I did try to do it recently, and I felt a strong compulsion to stop.

Maybe a message that the time for mercy has passed? If so, I don’t wonder why.

All we can do is hold to God and to what we know is right. But I know what you mean; seeing what’s happening around us is beyond difficult. It’s intolerable.

Doesn’t sound like faith, but pride. A distraction.

Without the faith being in place, you can save all the babies in the world and still go to hell... I know that sounds mean, but it is us being mean, not God.

God may be trying to tell you: you are looking at the superficial. The mercy the country needs is not that even of saving babies’ earthly lives but that of saving souls from hell.

right and the only reason I bring it up is because it raises the obvious question — given it is not likely there will be a CWII then what do we do? I don’t really have an answer except a general sense that we must learn to adapt and survive as an occupied insurgency. I believe the idea of real conservatives running the United States is unlikely. The liberals and RINOs run the country and they are quite entrenched.

In an environment where conventional methods will likely fail (pushing for Cruz) someone like a Trump may be helpful even if he doesn’t win. Who knows ... he make some inroads where conventional candidates fail and expose liberals and RINOs for the POS they are

There needs to be a spiritual battle royal.

Devils are holding souls hostage. People don’t tend to kill babies en masse out of the clear blue sky. That kind of numbing and subversion of love bespeaks a spiritual siege which has to be overcome.

It’s possible that we are beyond redemption.

I don’t see how it is possible to forgive what has been done, I just don’t see how.

But Jesus died for us. You know, he loves us, I don’t know why, but He does.

I don’t know how to stop this. Maybe it isn’t for us to stop, even though I would really like to think that there is a way, because it is intolerable as you say.

But, I tell you, even though I don’t know how to stop it, and even though maybe we have gone to far, I don’t what Him to hear silence when He should hear prayer.

Maybe a whole bunch of people don’t care, but I want Him to know that I care, so right now I am going to say the Lord’s Prayer out loud.

You're not going to win anything with Boehner and McConnell. The only way to win is to oust them. The only way to oust them is to either replace their lieutenants in upcoming elections, or turn popular sentiment on this issue so strong that they must act.

Walking away from a cloture vote won't do that. This chain began with the claim that McConnell voted NO in order to be able to reconsider this vote later. I suggested that he might never reconsider the motion. You suggested that it was pointless to reconsider because Obama will veto it anyway. How is any of this winning the issue?

At least a forced vote that Obama vetos can be used to rally the public when new videos come out and more courts try to intervene. Take it to the court of public opinion. Keep it in front of the people by making the MSM report it because Congress is voting on it repeatedly.

If indeed that was the strategy I would agree. But I doubt it is. I think as always (going back to the 1850s) the real strategy is to always bring the issue up quietly for votes that have no chance to succeed so they can run on "pro-life." PJ, don't you find it odd that after two elections and control of the senate and substantial public opinion they continue to dodge an up or down vote on Obamacare?

Have the videos substantially moved public opinion on abortion? I don't see it. Basically you managed to have one endangered Dem shift is vote and one endangered R shift his.

Honestly, if this were a meaningful vote don't you think we would have been closer to 50 or less?
