I was there in the audience when Donald Trump made his unfortunate comments about John McCain’s war record as a POW. (SNIP) Similarly, most of Mr. Trump’s support is people of various factions and persuasions rightfully fed up with being fed up. They don’t care that Mr. Trump is no movement conservative, because they’ve watched most of the Republicans they’ve elected ignore or violate the party platform once in office anyway. Mr. Trump is not their noble champion, but their instrument to strike back against a political party that has betrayed them time and time again.

I use Foxfire too....when you open up a page...in the address bar there is a way to “block plugin” hit that and page will load faster without all the vid’s, etc

“Charismatic” ... a word I’ve used and understood for decades. However, when you wrote, “He is very charismatic,” I had to run to my dictionary to make sure I was still clear on the meaning of the word. Perhaps, considering my advanced age, my memory was foggy. To my great relief, I’m still tarp as a shack. I do, in fact, understand the meaning of “charismatic.” I’m just confused that someone would attribute that quality to Donald Trump. Bombastic, yes. Boorish, yes. Charismatic, not even close — unless arrested development could be confused for charismatic.
Trump is not popular,what he is saying is popular.
It took no mental giant to figure out that such things would be well received.
