Many Catholic churches are not socialist but very conservative. Mine is. The Word is not only spoken, but joyfully preached.
I’m in Alabama, and our Catholic Church tradition here is heavily influenced by the Baptist churches and religious conservatism.
We even have Bible study on Wednesday night.
So what does your Priest think of the Pope?

Same here in Houston. A bit disappointing in that the Hymns are mostly English/Protestant.
