I honestly think splitting the country would be an easier process because we would have as many, perhaps more of them than ‘us’ loving the idea. They would love to be rid of us, even the ones not wanting us ‘final solutioned’ would not bat an eye to oppose their own ‘Utopia’.

On the other hand, I agree that the education institutions are key and thats why the Soviets targeted them.. But there’ you would be faced with massive opposition. All the little communists would come out to play and the leftits that would be OK with a split would suddenly go thermonuclear.

Which doesn’t bother me personally but since we can’t even oppose our ‘own’ communists, opposing theirs and ours simultaneously would be a much longer, harder and INO ultimately futile slog.

Not to be overly argumentative, but I think there are hidden problems with breaking the nation in half.

Civil war
Distribution of assets
Military distribution
Nuclear distribution
Tens of millions of deaths
Massive destruction
Losing access to a good portion of our ports and land mass assets
Totally destroying our credibility with the rest of the world
At least splitting in half our military assets
Destroying half our income tax base
Creating an instant massive and perpetually antagonistic enemy on our border
