I’ll be honest. IMO the days of hunting animals for sport, should be done. If I walked into a home with a “big game” room, I’d turn around and leave.

I do believe in hunting for food. I do think people should respect the animal and use as much of it’s meat and hide as they can. What they can’t use, they should alert others to, so they can use it.

There is need to thin certain populations. I do respect moving parts of those populations over destruction.

I do not believe in returning threats to man in our forests. Land should be accessible to humans. It turns out animals that have been returned to parts of the U. S., were not in danger of extinction. They didn’t have to be restored to lands so that they would be a threat to herds of cattle or hikers.

We should treat animals decently, and use a lot more common sense.

What they are doing to this guy is idiotic.

If he didn’t break any laws, he should be left alone. If he did, he took a risk he shouldn’t have.

This isn’t the level of crime I would extradite a guy over. If Zimbabwe wanted to impose a reasoned fine for the man having broke their laws intentionally, I’d consider it.

If he committed a crime, extradite him, because:

Zimbabwe was fine for his purposes when he wanted to hunt there. So it’s good enough now.

And secondly, but most importantly, when people come to our country and commit crimes, then flee, we complain. Rightfully.

We either want the same rules for all, or we need to shut up about all the illegals.

Illegals/immigration is in my top three issues. We need to either be consistent, or we need to pack it in.

It might surprise you to know that it’s a law in Africa that the meat not consumed by the hunting party while hunting is given to local tribes. It’s also the law in every state here in the US that the meat of game animals are to be consumed. I guess you wouldn’t like my office since there are several trophies on the wall and might I add they were damn tasty. Hunting is not a sport or a game it’s an instinct that all mankind possess along with every other predator on this earth.

If you walked into a house with a mounted elk head, or deer head, you’d leave?

That seems so insane.

Here in rural Oregon there’s tons of people who mount deer and elk they’ve killed, with nice racks and antlers.

There’s restaurants that have walls lined with pronghorn, elk, deer, ram and bear.

You consider that so offensive that ‘d walk out?

Honestly, I don’t understand this new mentality...

Thar would leave more room for me to gaze on upon and admire the really cool stuff on the walls.
