Jones alleged in the complaint that his team later ditched him in 120-degree temperatures without water, making him walk part way back to their compound before they stopped to give him a ride
A former Navy SEAL has filed an internal complaint alleging the CIA bullied him for being gay during a work assignment in June in Afghanistan.
Brett Jones said he filed the complaint last week against the federal agency, saying he was forced to endure homophobic slurs and other inappropriate comments on June 11 in Afghanistan as a group of contractors and civil servants in the CIA's Global Response Staff watched news of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage.
He also said he was abandoned and forced to walk in 120-degree temperatures without water.

This is wrong!!! He was serving his country, for Pete’s sake. What is wrong with you people!!!!!
I’m just having trouble imagining the words “bullied Navy SEAL” all in one string.
Good point. LOL!
On of many reasons you don’t put faggots in the military.
Sorry, nobody likes fags.
Its all about him. . .completely contrary to the ethos of the SEALS. . .
100% correct. Well stated!
Do you know why they shave male recruits heads at induction into the military?
They do it as part of a teaching experience that the team is more important than your individuality.
How do you live, shower, squat crap in some hole, with the guy next to you thinking your package looks like ribeye steak?
The answer is you can’t.
Running him out of the military probably saved his life.
The same reason women have no place in combat. The men will try to save her first, to the detriment of the other members of the team.
No reason for the rudeness of the comments IMO.
I understand.
In my experience soldiers and former soldiers aren’t particularly polite when they see the country they risked their life for, crap all over that service for a social experiment.
I think they have a right to be angry, and sometimes being angry means being rude.
Imagine a guy’s wife being molested in a bar, which works better;
Please stop bothering my wife. Or
Put your hand on my wife again, and I’m gonna pull your intestines out with my bare hands and hang you from the ceiling rafters with them?
It’s a guy thing.
“This is wrong!!! He was serving his country, for Petes sake. What is wrong with you people!!!!!”
He takes it right up the wazzoo. So no, he gets no respect from me. Sicko
Awwwww,,, stamping your feet! He’s a homo first. Then he’s a whiner. Then he’s a seal who complained about having to walk home on a hot day!
Three strikes,,, he’s out
A crybaby Seal? WTF?
I’m with you, Cal. Business between SEALs or special ops types, I don’t know. I trust the to take care and look out for their own, and I’d have trouble thinking they jeopardize eachothers trust.
But people here, guy’s an American solider, and a SEAL to boot meaning he is isn’t skating through some light duty looking for HI Bill, but instead he volunteered for high risk stuff, and people want bad mouth him over his sexuality.
Just thank the guy for his service. Not too many people volunteer to fight face-to-face against 10 to 1 odds for their country. Those who do are better men than me.
He sounds to me like a detriment to the cohesiveness of any unit he is part of, because his homosexuality is more important to him than any mission.
And it sounds to me as if that is crystal clear to anyone he is working with.
You support open homosexuality in the military?
Appreciate your thoughtful response.
if you tell me that, i'm gonna want nothing to do with you.
