A man who was stopped along a road on Montana's Crow Indian Reservation gunned down a family who tried to help him Wednesday, killing the couple and wounding their daughter.
Tana Shane, 50, and her husband Jason, 52, who have seven children, were killed, and daughter, Jora, 24, was shot in the head and back, after they assisted 18-year-old suspect Jesus Deniz Mendoza in Pyror, Montana.
Jorah survived and managed to run to a local school to get help before returning to the scene. She was then taken to hospital and is said to be 'incoherent'.
Mrs Shane drove past the man and, after deciding to help, returned home to pick up her spouse and daughter so they could help him.

Park County sheriff's spokesman Lance Mathess said his agency has been instructed by the FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs not to release any information on Deniz.
Jesus Deniz Mendoza, 18, was detained in Wyoming by the FBI. He is accused of killing the couple and shooting their daughter after they took him to a nearby store so he could pick up gas

Not true. The FBI has jurisdiction over murder cases on reservations.
OK. I didn’t know that. Does that also cover the daughter?
From now on because of all the illegals swarming everywhere, you see the bait of someone needing help, you call the police FOR THEM
“Jesus Deniz Mendoza”
Calling him a murderer is racist.
He’s an Obama Dreamer.
Jeb Bush says it was ‘An Act of Love’.
Set the wood chipper a few inches from the southern border so that he can be deported back to his home country, or at least the country he crossed over from. The Mexicans can take care of the mess, as if they give a crap.
It covers all murders on Indian reservations, no matter the race/ethnicity of the perp or victim(s).
It would be interesting to follow the disposition of this case. Will he be deported or prosecuted under federal murder statutes?
Be sure to feed him in feet first, and slowly.

I found that one too and yes it looks like him. That would make him 28 not 18. And the perp pic of him looks 28. He’s for sure older than 18
Looks to me like he went to Montana and reinvented hisself. That’s the problem. No one really knows who these people are.
There’s some gang with a 100 deaths in 100 days, perhaps this perp is part of it.
Oops. Wyoming not Montana.
Just FYI from Title 18, US Code: The second federal code provision regarding jurisdiction over crimes committed in Indian Country is 18 U.S.C. § 1153. Pursuant to this federal code provision, crimes committed in Indian Country, with the exception of crimes committed in the states granted jurisdiction under the provision, are subject to federal jurisdiction when the offense is committed by, or against, a Native American. The crimes subject to federal jurisdiction under 18 U.S.C. § 1153, include: murder, manslaughter, kidnapping, maiming, incest, assault with intent to commit murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault resulting in serious bodily injury, an assault against an individual who has not attained the age of 16 years, arson, burglary, and robbery.
Guess he chose not to.
One of Jeb’s acts of love....
Understood. But the daughter is still alive (so far).
If Jeb had another son.
had this happened 100 years earlier his rotting corpse would already be swinging from the nearest tree.
