"Morning Joes Mark Halperin was shocked that Trump supporters were so articulate about what they liked about him, and the rest of the panel was so stunned that they had to replay it just about 25 minutes later. "
Watch and listen why Trump connects with the voters and why others do not. A five minute video clip. Enjoy.

“What stunned me is how easily billionaire Trump crosses class lines and income lines.”
People want their American Dream back.
OK, Thanks for that in depth look into your “far too long” experience with Trump.
A patriot — perfect branding.
How the hell do we know what we’re buying anymore?
the people we are up against know how to package - they know how to trap us - not unlike Cecil - we might be following the bait.
Let’s see how the debates go...
and should he pull it out - let’s start planning how to better hold any candidate’s feet to the fire after they’ve administered the date rape drug.
Week? Post of the Year!!!
And the one with the most to hide is the supposedly anointed GOP standard-bearer, Jeb Bush. Beginning with the fact that his wife doesn't speak English.
here’s some legal adice ... get that phrase COPYRIGHTED today ... like “now” ...
Hey, you don’t have to convince me... I’m just afraid.
I’ve been defending the Donald for the traits he’s packaging for consumption. I’m guilty as charged.
the date rape drug has been administered to the right... now they work on the left.
sorry... I’m tremendously suspicious of the process, and the lengths these cretins will go to to underwrite their next conquest of the electorate... remember THEY LAUGH AT OUR STUPIDITY.
Seemed to me there was very little substance
In what they had to say. It was all gut feeling,
but that is how most people vote.
Yeb Bush will NEVER be able to introduce his wife on a national level without some folks knowing “instantly” why Yeb has sold-out (or been whipped) into embracing illegal amnesty ...
Not sure where you’re going with the Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt piece. FUD is what marketing departments do to competitors to boost their product sales.
Makes me wonder what candidate you’re out here hawking.
You should come clean.
Conservatives had Barry’s number from the get go.
Trump is a breath of fresh air with a successful empire behind him to back up his talk.
My experience on this sort of discussion is that no one is going to pay attention to details, much less change their mind. Trump historically games the system and knows what to say to turn things to his advantage. Trump is saying all the right things. Both are true statements. Which one matters more to you is not going to change because of anything I say. I simply expressed my doubts.
I love those reporters, try as they may, you can see the gall of this businessman, who is not owned by anyone, eat their words....I loved it....
Interesting....I wonder what the Clinton campaign is thinking about this focus group...?
I wonder which GOP candidate will make a deal with the she devil (Clinton) to try and sink Trump...
The GOPe are wetting their panties when they see the peasants are figuring it out, they are thought of as suckers...
Thanks. Its not hard to come up with slogans where the GOP is concerned. Its a target rich environment. ;)
” Well, they are right. He doesnt hide behind his money like Hillary or Reid or McCain or some of the others do. “
Good point.
do NOT impugn my motives.
A simple flip through my comments on this board tells you where I’m coming from.
I HOPE AND PRAY the Donald is the real thing.
But I also know the depravity of the men and women who spend fortunes on how to manipulate an electorate they DISDAIN - into voting the status quo.
I don’t care if it’s Roosevelt plotting to sacrifice those boys at Pearl Harbor after taunting Japan with an oil embargo -
Or Wilson, bowing to the banks who were going to lose their shirts if Germany prevailed -
Or Bush/Cheney - who desperately needed public support in their attack on [any Muslim country would do] - by manufacturing enough emotional trauma in an electorate that has proven over and over again - to be too preoccupied with their own survival to sufficiently monitor the monsters of Washington and the War Machine.

But your comment is one of the few that really addresses the big picture. And to your question of whether DT is just another twist on the selling of the concept of "America" to the rubes, the answer is of course.
That's why I think any concerns about DT's safety are misplaced. He's not threatening the status quo in any way, shape or form. The money power couldn't care possibly less if the border was sealed and illegals shipped back home. They would simply shift focus on where the next round of financing deficits would occur. Think of the $trillions that could siphoned off in building a huge fence, militarizing the border, retraining programs, militia organizations, etc.
Now, I'm not saying sealing the border is a bad thing, it's just that we might want to consider who actually benefits. When you are an ant farmer, do you care where the ants burrow & build? Of course not - if they want to concentrate in one section of the farm, then feed them there.
One last thing since we're on this topic: progressives actually think the concentrated media/cultural shift to the left was due to some intrinsic values (which they hold dear). Nope, it was just exploitation to generate advertising revenues and play the markets ahead of the trends.
If we see a shift back to the right (now that debauchery has been normalized), will conservatives believe the country has finally woken up and smelled the coffee? Or will it be time for new controversial actions to drive debate finally by necessity need to go the other way?
Never forget that those who control the right to print money hold all the cards.
“Trump has something to say. Most of the Republicans have something to hide and all dimoKKKRATS have something to hide.”
I had to just add to it. Fine post and to the point.
Meanwhile Hillary Clinton supporters, when asked questions just say “DUH, where’s my free birth control”
