Donald Trump, whos polling at the head of the 2016 Republican primary pack, has finally decided to hire a national political director.
The media moguls presidential campaign announced Thursday that it had hired Michael Glassner for the job. Michael is responsible for developing and implementing a national political plan and will oversee strategic planning operations nationwide on behalf of Donald J. In the 2008 cycle, Glassner served as a top aide to Sarah Palin on Sen. John McCains 2008 presidential campaign. Hes also a former aide to former Kansas senator Bob Dole, and in the 2000 presidential campaign cycle served the Bush/Cheney campaign as an adviser in Iowa.

I take it he’s not one of the guys who were planted on Sarah in order to undermine her? I don’t recall the name.
I heard this morning on Morning Joe that Trump had met with...Ed Rollins.
Okay, so estab with Dole, estab PLANT with Palin, and estab with Bush.
Hmmm......go figure.
Anyone know a background on Glassner? A “Palin aide” means nothing if it is the backstabbing types (Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace) from the McCain campaign.
A Trump/Palin ticket could be dy-no-mite!
The boss is whoever signs your paychecks...................
This guy is not one of the Palin backstabbers. He was her main guy heading into the 2012 season.

Trump crazy? Ed Rollins?
The guy probably enticed SP to quit the race halfway. Palin is a fighter and thought that inside forces caused the exit abruptly.
Trump’s doing just fine and this is a bad move adding a bad egg to the mix.
Trump on Palin:
Shes really somebody who knows whats happening. Shes a special person. Shes really a special person. And I think people know that and shes got a following thats unbelievable, Trump told the host of Mama Grizz Radios The Palin Update.
Im looking at some of these candidates, theyre weak, theyre ineffective and to a degree thats almost hard to believe. And, you know, they like the Sarah Palin kind of strength. You just dont see very much of it anymore, he said.
Trump/Palin ticket?
A guy like Ed Rollins is attracted to guys with Trump money like flies are attracted to spilt honey.
When did Palin quit the race halfway?

Washington (CNN) Sarah Palin has added a veteran Republican strategist to serve as chief-of-staff for her political action committee, Sarah PAC, CNN has learned.
Michael Glassner, an attorney and longtime adviser to former Kansas senator and presidential candidate Bob Dole, has signed on to steer the former Alaska governor's political operation as she considers a possible 2012 presidential bid.
I think it was McLame that quit when he endorsed Baraq for President on Oct 10, 2008.
Nicole Wallace?
That is good news.
Trump still needs to be careful to stay far away from Schmitt/Wallace.
I wonder if Trump heard something about them and was part of his reason for unloading on McLame.
Oh, Lord, let him NOT be Establishment!
Trump seems to be doing best with just one lawyer and a microphone with a camera in tow.
