Presidential candidate and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) was heckled while participating in the time-honored tradition of grabbing a cheesesteak in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Photos of the event showed at least two protesters holding up rather lewd signs while Walker schmoozed at Geno's Steaks, a cheesesteak joint famous for expecting its customers to order in English.

Thank you so much. Now I know the name of the cake that I loved as a kid. My parents were from Philadelphia, but they moved to Maryland before I was born. My father had a friend who would visit us from Philly on occasions, and he often brought fresh bakery items.
In vain, have I looked on the Internet and have asked my older siblings about it. Apparently they did not love it as I did, as they had no recollection of it; they remembered just the cheesecake.
I will definitely try to make one when the weather is cooler.
Apologies to the OP for high-jacking the thread.
Thank you. See my #31.
Bullies.
What about scrapple? At least that’s what an old Navy buddy from Philly mentioned.
Thanks! I found a recipe for the Philly style butter cake and am going to try it out. One of the comments is from a chef in Philly who says it is a good recipe and tastes right on. Looks very easy, too!

Some real class on display.
IF this is the best they have, this guy stands a great shot at being President.
I saw that recipe, but I don’t like the idea that it uses a cake mix.
Here’s the one I intend to try:

Scrapple is good too. But it can be bought in local supermarkets.
