Murder?
If someone tries to run your ass over with their car and you defend yourself, that’s murder?
As I understand it - cops have had a green light for years to shoot a fleeing suspect. They make out like the suspect was going to run them over and BANG! They shoot.
Was not Tensing knocked down? Maybe he fell down after he shot DuBose, but it was - per regulations - a clean kill.
But - because DuBose is a protected minority - CVS’s gotta burn.
No, if someone tries to run you over and you defend yourself, that is not murder, that is self defense.
I can’t clearly see that the man tried to run him over though.
I don’t know if he fell down after he shot him.
What i am saying is that after watching the video, it looks like he murdered him.
But maybe he didn’t. I am willing to hear all evidence fairly.
Here’s another possibility. Maybe when he pointed his gun at the man, the moving car hit his hand and caused the gun to fire. The discharging of the weapon seemed... strange or something.
And no, no CVSs need to burn at all. This is what we have court for.
The only thing that matters is the truth, so let’s effort to discover what it is.
He was knocked down after he shot him, and he was knocked down because the car sped off after he fired the shot (y'know, because DuBose's dead body slumped forward, causing the car to accelerate). The guy didn't try to run him over - the car sped off after he was dead.
Why are you lying? You know from this and a previous thread that never happened.
Crawl back under your rock, troll.
I support cops shooting fleeing felons, contrary to current law.
But I did notice the cop was both beside the car and slightly to the rear of the deceased. Kinda tough to make a case for Assault with a Deadly Weapon on the part of the dead guy.
I lean toward accidental shooting, tried to cover it up with the help of his buddy.
But I don't know anymore than what little I could discern from the video.
Didn't watch the video, did you? Nobody tried to run the officer over.

Fleeing suspects. Standing suspects. Any kind of suspects.
Maybe he fell down after he shot DuBose, but it was - per regulations - a clean kill.
If it was a clean kill then why did he wait? Why not shoot the guy once he rolled his window down?
But - because DuBose is a protected minority - CVSs gotta burn.
The dead guy did not do anything that justified being shot in the head. The officer was not in danger. No bystanders were in danger. Nothing justified the use of deadly force.
