Adrian Jerry Gonzalez lured 8-year-old Madyson Middleton into his Santa Cruz apartment, raped and killed her, and put her body in a box, investigators said.
Rosell announced Wednesday morning that he charged the 15-year-old as an adult, and identified the boy for the first time.
"He is charged with one count of murder, (with) special circumstances involving sexual offenses, lying in wait, and kidnapping," Rosell said.
According to Police Chief Kevin Vogel, Gonzalez lured Madyson into his apartment. The young girl trusted the boy enough to follow him into the apartment because he was her neighbor at the Tannery Arts Center on River Street in Santa Cruz, Vogel said.
Rosell said Gonzalez sexually assaulted the girl before he killed her.
"Madyson was murdered inside of the suspect's apartment and eventually carried downstairs to the recycle bin and concealed. The suspect had gone to great lengths to conceal the body," police said.

As of a couple of weeks ago, yes. There was a group of them sighted off of the cement ship not long ago.
They like warm waters. So do surfers. We’re near 100 here. It’s time to feed the sharks.
He sure does.
I won’t risk my limbs for surf less than 3 feet.
This thread began yesterday:
Missing Santa Cruz 8 year old girl was raped and strangled (by illegal alien?)
We'll see what is revealed, though I've been sharing your doubts and also think that if he is indeed here illegally, there'll be an article with more substantial evidence sooner or later.

I guess he is the ultimate “dreamer”: “dreaming” of raping and murdering.
Air drop him. From a couple hundred feet.
You ever used a Jetski to catch a big one?
I ate sand and dang near drowned and that was just body surfing
These old bones couldn't handle getting rag dolled & held down like those strap-in fools do.
I like your idea for the sh*tbag punk with one caveat - that we draw straws to see who gets to stand on the shore with our weapon of choice to make certain he doesn't get past the fish.
