Last last week, a neologism was born. Twitter was the incubator. "Cuckservative," a portmanteau of "conservative" and "cuckold" (i.e. a man whose wife has cheated on him) burned up Twitter as fans of Donald Trump's politicking warred with the movement conservatives who opposed it.
RedState.com's Erick Erickson, the Daily Caller's Matt Lewis, and the team at the well-read conservative blog Ace of Spades were among the critics suddenly deluged with accusations of cuckservatism.
Below, we explain.

Incidentally, the first example they used is Trump. I guess they needed something that sounded bad to use against him.
I thought they would call it ‘kookservative’!
It just doesn't flow
“The Homocrats”
Now THAT might stick!
But now, you see, it's bad, you see, because it's a "conservative" (which Trump is not).
This is Alinksy: "Use their own rules against them."
The party of Anthony Weiner has no room to smirk.
Not so much. It’s just something the racist fringe is pushing.
I like "Gay Mafia", who through donations become "Homocrats".
Man on the street thinks 40% of the adult population is gay, for example.
The gay media mafia is working.
Reality: 2%.
Not enough people wrap their garbage or have birds any more. That’s drying up the demand for the washington compost.
“Man on the street thinks 40% of the adult population is gay, for example.
The gay media mafia is working. “
It works best when the leftist public schools intentionally dumb down the population over the last 40 years.
It was Trump supporters using the term against his conservative critics.
Actually, this is a term originally associated with Reddit and the chans. When confronted by an obvious beta-male (like the guy in the Post or Times the other day who wrote about letting his wife sleep with other men so that he didn’t try to “own” her sexuality), the redditors (and other “s**tlords”; their term of endearment for like-minded non-politically correct folks) refer to those whipped males derisively as “cucks.” So this term, I believe, is referring to the GOPe huevos-lacking beta-males who we also deride as having no spine.
As the boys at the chans would say, “Top kek!”
Reddit? I have heard of it, once. "Chans"?? No idea. "Top kek!" Clueless.
But I certainly know what a cuckold is, and it's an apt description of a lot of GOP politicians. As you so nicely put it "GOPe huevos-lacking beta-males who we also deride as having no spine." .
I think some of the people scanning this post may have missed that the term was not created by the 'tards, but by the dissident right.
Donald Trump might not be a conservative, but he's clearly also not a cuckservative. Lindsey Graham, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, George Pataki? If the shoe fits...
“Cuckservative” and “teabagger” are examples of the left compulsively sexually harassing members of the right.
Teabagger, as a term, describes an obscene act and is a pure slur, it has nothing to do with what the Tea Party is all about. It's a crude epithet. It's not much different than calling democrats "A**H***S" compulsively.
Where as being "cuckolded" is really about lacking the self-respect to stand up for yourself and deal with intolerable forthrightly. That's a on target.
But I agree it is a sort of "sounds nasty" word. Someone above mentioned 'fracking'. Like that it has an appeal as vaguely transgressive without being actually a crude sexual profanity, as "teabagging" is.
David Weigel and his editor should buy a dictionary. They are clueless of the true definition of ‘cuckold’.
