Even one of the speakers stated “I don’t think the officer woke up and decided he would kill someone that day.”

And yet it seems that the prosecutor has said words almost to that effect:

Deters is one of the best prosecutors in the U.S. Very conservative. Says video is senseless killing of civilian.

and

“This office has probably reviewed upwards of hundreds of police shootings, and this is the first time we’ve thought this is without question a murder.” -Joe Deters, Hamilton County Prosecutor.

and

Presenter is going all-out to blame the cop, so far as stating cop _wanted_ to shoot the guy and was looking for an excuse/cover to. “Every occupation has people who shouldn’t be doing it.” Declares driver did nothing violent, though I’m really unclear about whether the door was opened (in conjunction with gin issue, perhaps).

Let’s stick with the objective facts, not rhetoric with those saying whatever they can to defuse the inevitable riots.

Someone linked to the video, I’ll go watch it soon.

The other scenario I’m seeing possible is - given the setup I described - driver was told to get out, and put the vehicle in park & took his foot off the brake, resulting in the vehicle moving a couple inches (as usually happens) startling the officer who overreacted (conviction: manslaughter).

Let’s stay away from fighting, instead looking for objective facts.
